The short: These are great quality socks. The only reason I chose 4 out of 5 is that "light-weight" is a bit misleading. This is a substantial sock even at light-weight. It is thicker than other similar socks. If that is what you are looking for - I recommend.

The long: I have been wearing UA performance socks for years but either they have changed the composition of the socks or I ordered different socks than in the past. I started to notice that at the end of the day my feet were very stinky. Like all trained medical professionals (I am not a trained medical professional) I immediately went to google to see what I could do. A lot of people suggested Merino wool as a great way to wick moisture and keep the stink down. I was overwhelmed by how many options were available so I ordered 3 pairs of socks - each with different percentages of Merino wool and therefore price points. These socks were my second favorite, the only flaw being that they were thicker than I am comfortable with. I may try the Ultra-Light-Weight to see if they are better for me.

Really comfortable socks. Purchased in March 2017 on June 5th I noticed the fibers separated and formed a hole.

AMAZING!! The best way to describe these socks. Natural material so my feet breathe and always feel comfortable. I had been extremely discouraged trying to find no show socks that aren't too thin over the bridge of my foot. So many are too thin for my liking and comfort. They make my foot feel uncomfortable & itch from the contact of my shoe if the material is too thin. Imagine my joy when I received these. Perfect!! Not too thin, Not too think. 100% comfort & fit Did not shrink after a round in the wash and dryer. My new favorite!!!

These socks have protected my feet from blisters and I don't even feel like my feet are hot from the material (even though they're a thick quality wool). I have a huge problem with a friction on my right sole (ball area), so these socks have been my savior and I am able to hike with them wearing great running sneaker (which I also bought on Amazon) without any problems. They are somewhat expensive for someone on a meager budget, so I do wind up hand laundering them so that I don't have to buy several pairs. However, if Cloudline should read this, I would love another pair! :-)

I love wool socks, but tired of Brand X always wearing out far too soon... typically in the pads or heel. I follow these guys on Twitter so decided to grab a couple pairs when on sale. Initial impressions: quality sock, very comfortable, odor resistant. Time will tell if they're more durable, but we have a very good start. PLUS: Hassle-free lifetime guarantee. Made in the USA. <- I'm down with that.

I love the feel of wool socks. Never thought I would, figured it would be itchy, but no. I don't understand why we all buy thin cotton over wool. These are soft, supportive, warm when they need to be and wick away moisture when my feet are hot. They aren't as comfy as my kirkland wool, but then Kirkland doesn't seem to make shorter ones. My one gripe would be I wish these were still even shorter as they come up about an inch above my sneakers.

First impressions of this sock were very good. They fit good, I’m a 8w and the medium fit fine. They feel good no real issues. My only concern is they fuzzed up about an 1/8” of fuzz after the first wearing. This has subsided since. These seem to be on par with some of the other brands of wool socks that I’ve purchased in the past. Time will tell if they hold up. But initially after a couple wearing them seem pretty good. Packaging states made in USA of import yarns.

This is a great sock, I started to wear it in winter at temp of 20F it was kind of cold but I made it through, then on the hotter days as I near May these socks outperform other similar yet much thinner socks in the same price range. As your feet get hot and sweaty just remove your shoes and maybe sock too for about 5 minutes outside in the breeze and then you should be good for another 4 hours of work, as these socks adsorb sweat and have enough fabric to do so.
