Bought these as a humorous gift for my 21-y.o. son at the holidays. They were the fourth part of an elaborately staged gift of coffee, a coffee grinder, a pour-through coffee maker, and then -- SPAM socks! The "real" fourth gift was a supply of coffee filters to fit the ceramic coffee maker, but my kid has been a Spam fan -- and advocate -- for far too long to pass up the opportunity to zing him. HE LOVES THEM!

The socks themselves are great quality. They are very well made, with sturdy toes and heels. They are a generously fit, stretchy crew sock, even fitting comfortably for my son who is 6'5" tall and wears size 14 shoes. The cotton, nylon,& Lycra blend is soft, but it is sturdy enough that these will actually last through wearing and washing -- not like some of the novelty socks one sees!

These are definitely a good deal and suitable for any Spam fan -- or Monty Python fan -- you might know. Given the new fashion trend for men is promoting wild socks even with work wear, these might even qualify as suitable for Monday through Thursday, and not just casual Fridays. (Or maybe not...)

Although I thought that by spam socks the intention was to have the customer slip their feet into a sock made of sticky cold meat product, sadly this is more like an actual sock. They're nice socks, tho. Like, totally five star nice.

Now, if you'll excuse me... I must proceed to slip my feet into a pair of cold raw chicken breasts to ensure my emotional needs are met.

I bought them for my boyfriend and he loves them. They are of nice quality and are not thin. He wears them all the time. If you love spam or want to buy these as a joke they are perfect for you!

The socks are fun and have great visual impact if you are looking for laughs. Maybe a bit expensive for a pair of socks but I suppose you are paying for the unusual joke?

I could immediately tell these were using poor quality material when I put them on the first time, and could feel the few elastic bands snapping as I pulled them over my feet and calves.

After the first wash the elastic stiffened. So, not really comfortable anymore. It’s a little too tight pulling over the heel.

You say one size fits all. Nope. I wear a size 12 and there to small.
