Just the right thickness for me, and the higher ankle length means I can wear them in winter without a gap between the top of my shoe and the bottom of my tights. I've been wearing them for just a few weeks, so can't speak to their longevity, but they seem well made and durable. I probably would not wear them with a high-rise hiking boot, but think they'd work well for a low-rise hiking shoe.

I am a mens size 9 and often worry that the heel of the socks wont fit snug. Not a problem with these, they fit very nicely. They are a solid quarter sock that come about three fingers above the top of my ankle. Very nice construction, with good airflow mesh on top. No logo on the ankle part is a plus.

I wear these at work...i walk aprox 5 to 8 miles a day....they dont slip!...they fit snug but nicely....all my other socks purchased elsewhere would slide down, I'd have to stop and even remove my shoes sometimes to re-adjust them, it was very annoying. But these are the best yet I've ever had

Perfect fit! It's hard to find 1/2 cut socks at retail stores. What a great find! They fit as expected and wash up great. Not too hot while exercising. Great quality. Highly recommend.
