My feet sweat easily, all year long. I wear these socks literally everyday and run them through our washing machine with everything else. It took nearly two years for the first pairs to start wearing out and get holes. Money very well spent.

Love them. As good as any wool sock you can buy including Smart Wool brand at twice the price, Comfortable and sturdy. I live in the south and use these about 8 months a year (too warm for summer in Alabama). Also the only sock I wear while hiking. You can not beat a good quality wool sock while hiking. No blisters, EVER. Also important, "Made in the U.S.A." my home town of Brooklyn.

These socks are AMAZING!!! My feet sweat (a lot) year round and by the end of a shift on my feet all day, my feet would normally be irritated and STINKY. I cannot overstate how comfortable these socks are. Lots of cushioning without bunching or being overly bulky. They are the perfect length for my hikers. Stitched in just the right spots for maximum durability, support & comfort. I am donating all my serviceable socks and replacing them with PS. Love the box these come in.

Product was of high quality, well-packaged and very timely. I would highly recommend this seller.

UPDATE: I originally reviewed these socks shortly after the purchase. Today is September 15, 2017 and I am AMAZED by the durability of these socks!!! I am still wearing all but 1 pair of the original socks from this order! The one pair was destroyed by my boxer who apparently thinks they are also quite tasty. Having a job where I am ALWAYS on my feet, I am rough on shoes and socks; socks typically don’t last me 6 months. I highly recommend these socks. Amazing product!!!

I ordered these for hiking/winter socks and they are very comfortable, especially in the toe seam area. Because I am short, the ankle sock fit works better for my short legs. I am typically a size 6.5, and the small/medium is a bit roomy. You can see in the pic that they are a bit baggy around my heel, but not enough to bother me. If you need your socks to be very snug and you have small feet, they may disappoint you. The price is hard to beat for four pairs of wool socks, so all in all I am very content with this purchase and would recommend them!

I'm rough on these socks, even after wearing them inside my boots I walk around with them in the house which should wear the heal down and leave holes after awhile. Still, after 6 months and many wash and dry cycles, these socks look just as good as they did when I first got them. No holes, great fit, and now I want to replace my entire sock drawer with them.

    Purchased these for three reasons:
    1) To keep my feet warm; especially for a Christmas trip to Vegas (can get freezing there)
    2) For extra padding in my <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Keen-Womens-Bern-Baby-Casual/dp/B003O2SGK2" target="_blank">Keen boots</a> tarwhich don't have half sizes.
    3) To complement my REI hiking socks...which are outrageously expensive for one pair.

As for number one, these worked well, thought not as well as my REI socks. Those (REI socks) absorb more moisture than these, but these are still pretty great in terms of absorbtion. As least compared to regular cotton socks. In any case, this is directly related to keeping my feet warm, which was accomplished when it got down to 28 degrees in the night.

The padding was great too. They offer at least and extra 3/16 of an inch all around (or 3 cm).

The price for these socks was great for what you get too. I paid $20 for these on sale. Would do it again if I need more.

Overall, great buy; the color is not girly at all; kind of a dark olive green, which is fine because they're hiding in boots.

One word of caution: They run slightly large-ish, but a wash and run through the dryer solved that. If you need a small, perhaps think about getting an extra small if they sell it? However, as mentioned, a dryer will shrink them a bit, which is good.

Buy these if you want a good deal and fit into bigger boots!

Not only do these socks fit great, they are American Made. I Live in Florida, but wear wool socks almost exclusively because.... well feet sweat, especially in Florida. These socks really do keep you cooler and dryer in the Summer and Warmer and drier in the winter. I have used these while traveling to Canada in the winter (-28 degrees) as well as at home in 90+ degrees. I wear 11.5 shoes and these fit great. Great product, great price, american made, high percentage wool. Brown is Light Brown, more tan or taupe colored. Green (heather) is light green, almost more white/cream than green.

I am a wool sock connoisseur. I have owned many different brands, such as Smartwool. The socks are made in the USA and have remarkable craftsmanship, from the seam to the stitching. I used to buy wool socks from Costco but they have not recently carried them. I rarely write reviews, but these socks are so well-made I felt compelled. If you suffer from sweaty balmy feet, and work in warm climates, these are a must. I work in shops in Florida. These particular socks are too thick for dress socks, but make great workboots, or hiking socks.

No tan cómodos como esperaba con los zapatos que uso ... aunque no me los he puesto seguido.
