Best socks ever. Active duty for 22 years now and the only socks I wear. Fit, padding (but not too much) and long wear -- i have had some "dark green" Fox River for eight years now...

I’ve had these fox river socks for about two months. I do a lot of outdoor sporting events and hiking and long range patrol duties for my work. I’d used people socks in the past but these are my new go-to socks. They’re warm but they also breathe well. My feet aren’t the sweatiest but I think of you have moderate sweat these will work out fine. I’ve gone on 48 hour longer range patrols in swampy regions and my feet stayed dry. Even when I changed them out due to wear time (~12 hours in boot) and they were a bit moist they dried quickly and fully (1-1/12 hours) laid out in the sun (80degrees F -90% humidity). My only concern is that in one of the three pairs there is some thinning on the back right heel. Full disclosure I was breaking in new boots at the time and probably didn’t rotate out the socks initially.

Very pleased with these socks. I bought them to wear in my uniform boots, and they are very comfortable. I wear boots most of the time and my feet tend to sweat. I wear out socks frequently since I am in the boots all day, everyday..and these are very thick and feel like they will last. So far they do a pretty good job of wicking moisture, so we'll see how they hold up in the summer months.

Made right here in the USA in Iowa no less. Comfy from the moment I put them on. Great support on the calves and feet with just the right amount of cushion on the soul. Couldn't ask for a better product.

I purchased these socks because I thought they were going to be super thick, which people complained about in the description. When I received them, they were normal socks. I wanted cold weather socks, so when I was freezing my ass off in the mountains my feet were dry and warm.

I spent 27 years in the military and now teach JROTC yet I just stumbled upon these boot socks. I’m so angry I didn’’t find them sooner. They are the best boot socks I have worn. They have an excellent fit and are the most comfortable socks I have worn. They aren’t too thick which is perfect for boot fitment and the material wicks sweat and they do’t get soggy. The best socks for the price. Don’t waste money on $27 pair of socks because these are all you need.
