These socks are so comfortable. I am a loyal Swiftwick user and this is my first purchase in the Maxus arena. I have Aspire 7 socks I wear at work all the time, I also run in performance and pursuit zero socks. All are fantastic at moisture management and preventing hot spots. The performance are thinner weight and great for hot summer runs. These Maxus zero socks have much more cushioning than the performance series. Great for winter runs, or if you need more sock to help with a slight shoe fit issue. For reference the Pursuit series socks are right in the middle for thickness and cushioning. I have used a pair each of the performance zero and pursuit zero for 3 years now. I don't wash after each and every run and I only line dry them (except occasionally they get missed and tossed in the dryer). They hold up very well especially when I am out running 5-7 days a week. I usually wash them about weekly, the antimicrobial properties of these socks are awesome as I have not been knocked over with odor from them nor have I cleared a room because of them. My running shorts can't go as long (of course not) but these socks can take the punishment. I recommend every few months a short sock in hot dishwater to make sure you strip the body oils that can build up in them. Also be careful your detergents etc. I only use vinegar for a fabric softener (to deactivate the detergents) but many normal laundry detergents are petroleum sourced and as such they can build up residue on the fibers causing odor and disrupting the moisture transport as well. If your experience is different I urge you to contact them, these are American made and superior to all the other socks I have tried. Smartwool socks as a comparison are good but they did not hold up long term in comparison to Swiftwick. The price may make you hold back but they are worth it when you factor in the longevity they can provide.

I use these mainly for golfing, but would be great for running, walking, etc. The heal stays put and the cushion is perfect for walking in golf shoes on the course.

For the price I paid for these, I was expecting a 4 or 6 pick. I was surprised to receive one paid. These socks are pretty much plain socks. They don't make me run faster, more confident, and people can't really tell that I'm wearing expensive socks or cheap socks when I wear them. Perhaps they will last a bit longer than other socks, but I'm far happier with some other socks I purchased on Amazon for about a 6th of the price.

First of all, per the sizing guide I purchased a Small. I wear 7 1/2 WW women's shoe--should have been a Medium. More importantly, my feet were wet after the first day's wear--minimal wicking. Bottom line: buy larger and try another brand if your feet are hyper-sweaty like mine.

I really like this sock. It isn't too thick or too thin, just perfect for everyday and all year. The support is good and I will be ordering more. The size was perfect for me. I wear a women's 9.5 and ordered a Medium. I also ordered Balega Hidden comfort in my same order from Amazon and I prefer the Swiftwick. The Balega Hidden Comfort ran big and the particular sock I ordered was a bit too thick for everyday use. To compare the Balega with this sock I would need to order it in a smaller size and a different thickness to do a side by side comparison.

Bought for a golfer who plays constantly. He loved the look, fit, padding and durability when washed. He only wears this style of socks in his golf shoes and will be ordering more soon. I scored an "Ace" on my golfer gift card with these socks.

Love these socks, tried underarmour, balega, features, asics. These were the best, but i would give them a tie with wigwam triathalon. Im training for a marathon and have run 16mi in them in texas summer mornings. Did well keeping feet dry without holding in heat while using hoka one one clayton 2's

These are nice, but are a bit warmer on my feet compared with other Swiftwick socks. So far, they're my least favorite from this company, but are still very nicely made.
