These socks are extremely thin, but they're not for me. I can see how they would be good for athletics with tight fitting shoes.
The package did come taped together so I'm not sure if they were worn, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. They don't look damaged or smell so they probably weren't.

These socks are amazing. I received a pair a few years ago as a gift, and now I've only bought these since. Just be sure you get them from one of Darn Tough's authorized sellers. I've gotten some crappy knockoffs here before from sellers not listed on the Darn Tough website.

My son's favorite socks! Expensive but definitely worth it. He has had the thicker ones for several years and I ordered these for him to try - he actually prefers these and digs around until they are found. Lifetime guarantee - I used to buy socks all the time and just threw them out when they got scratchy and uncomfortable. No more! Invest!

The socks are very comfortable to wear, look great and feel good against the skin. They retain their shape very well over time. They're expensive socks but worth the money compared to cheap alternatives.

Fit perfect, very soft and comfortable, and the "pull tab" on the back of the socks is awesome, because it stops tennis shows from rubbing against the back of my ankles. Quite pleased so far.

Wore these socks for an ultra, brand new. Had a blowout mid-race on both socks in the same spot at the pinky toe region. Created excessive pressure sores on both toes. Awful durability.
