Perfect fit. High quality socks. Massively comfortable. Stays up as it goes over the calf and is made very well. Feels amazing. Really. This is from a Paratrooper of the Cold War who walked around the world in crummy military issued gear. Socks were the most important tool in our walking chest along with boots. Great socks can improve mediocre boots. I did not have these back then, I wish I had. I ordered a slew more of these after buying two different kinds of socks made by Thorlo. There are no better out there for me. And they are made by the same guys in North Carolina that started the company. Feel good to wear on my feet and in my heart. Get some. Get many. Money very well spent...!

Once again big time credit to Thorlo for a sock with great padding but it truly stays up. Bought these specifically to
wear under my new gortex Laredo work boots for my trips up through the Sierra Nevada mountains during the very
snowy and cold times of the year. Without exception, every other type of sock just about, that I ever tried ends up as
a flat tire (slips down) within 1/2 hr or so. Since it is a wellington style boot I had to have extra padding in the foot
area but a sock that stays put all day. I found my sock! Trust me they're all that !!!

For the past 3 years, I (a female oil refinery process operator) have been looking for the perfect sock to wear with my steel-toed boots during my 12-hour shifts. I have finally found them! Thorlos socks are THE one! These socks are incredible! They are heavily cushioned at the bottom for additional comfort. I purchased the knee-high compression type which helps to decrease fatigue and swelling in my legs during my long shifts. I told several of my coworkers (who are just as picky as I am when it comes to socks) about Thorlos, and they have ordered them and been just as satisfied. One coworker said he expected his feet to still sweat in the Thorlos socks, and they did not. He was thoroughly impressed by this. Keep your feet dry and happy with Thorlos Unisex Work Socks. I work 12 hour shifts and at times find myself on my feet all day long. These padded socks have made a world of difference for my feet. The compression over the calf also keeps my legs from being drop dead tired at the end of the day. I started out with one pair and have gradually purchased enough till this is the only sock I wear to work. Well done folks. I love these socks!

Pay the extra money to get a better sock. I wore Thorlos boot socks for the last 5 years of my military career. I got a pair of Under Armor boot socks for Christmas after I retired and decided to stay with UA because they were less expensive. Now that I have a little more disposable income, I am sticking with the pricier but much better quality Thorlos.

I purchased these socks for my husband because after spending much of his day on his feet teaching or driving long distances often in traffic, his calf muscles are tight and painful. I thought a good pair of support socks with extra cushioning and arch support may help with his calf knots. The other pairs I saw on-line were thinner and lacked the cushioning and support zones. His initial report is that these socks are very comfortable and are helpful so I'll likely buy some additional pairs for him

I bought these for my husband who wears a leg brace. He has to wear his shoes all day. They are nicely padded and went on easier than the compression socks he usually wears.

I am a huge fan of thorLo socks in general. Purchased these and a hiking sock because I work on my feet ALL day and trusted thorLo would make the best option. Moderately disappointed because the sock only went up half of my calf and the cushion in the sock was lacking for a thorLo sock. However, still a good sock just not a 12 hour shift solution kind of sock.
