Socks seem to be well constructed, but the ribbing is very constricting (and I have thin legs). Also the socks are not as soft as I expected.

I received three striped ribbed crew socks from Goodthreads. Each one was unique. Attractive and masculine in appearance, they coordinated well with my apparel. I wear a size 9 shoe and they fit me well. One of the socks, the light-gray one with the various stripes around the top, had a seam that initially irritated my toe. However, once I moved the seam to another location by turning my sock, the seam didn't bother me anymore. These socks felt like 100% cotton even though they are 80% cotton, 19% nylon, and 1% elastane. All three pairs of Goodthreads socks were washed in warm water and dried on low heat; they didn't experience any shrinkage. Also, it is nice having unique socks that, once dried, are easy to pair with each other. Most all of my other athletic, outdoor socks are solid white and it is a task to pair them all up with one another. I would recommend these striped crew socks from Goodthreads to anyone who is athletic or works a lot outdoors and wishes to look stylish and frugal at the same time. Dad, who thought they were nice, said he would like a set. Father's Day is around the corner.

These Goodthreads (Amazon brand) men's 3-pack retro-style striped socks run way too small. Both the description and package insert state for men's sizes 8 to 12. My husband wears a size 12 shoe and there's no way he can wear these. However, they do fit me, and I wear a size 8 in women's shoes which I believe is around a size 6-1/2 in men's/boy's. The packaging also states the fiber content as 82% cotton, 8% nylon, 6% polyester, 3% elastodiene, and 1% elastene. (Makes you wonder what chemicals they used in the last two fibers, doesn't it? Some sort of elastic, I assume). Even though the majority of the fiber content is cotton, their washing instructions state to wash in cold water on gentle cycle and dry on low heat. No bleach, but you can use a non-chlorine bleach. In the 3-pack I received, I do like the green/dark blue stripe pair the best. The other pairs are white w/blue stripes and gray w/green, turquoise, light blue, royal blue, and navy blue stripes. These socks are definitely for a man who wears a smaller shoe. They need to label these for sizes 8-10 and then produce a larger size for 10-13. Otherwise, there will be many returns.
