This sock changed my life. As a 12 hour shift worker with very high arches, foot pain is a way of life. This sock provides gentle compression throughout the entire sock. This supports good circulation for people on their feet all day. This sock is loaded with the thickest padding I have found in a sock. The forefoot and heel absorb shock through the extra padding. I would never have believed that changing to a padded sock would reduce my foot discomfort so dramatically. I wish I had purchased these years ago. I agree as others have mentioned, the price hurts. Let me say personally, I am returning each payday to add a pair or two to my collection. The relief I have experienced is well worth it. I have not received any discounts, gifts, or promotions. If you have read this far, you must be suffering like I was. Everyone is different, but for my foot type, this has been the perfect sock solution.

This product is okay. It is pretty much a normal sock except for the cushioning which works as intended. Now let’s get to why I didn’t give this product 5 stars.

I’ve worked 12 hour shifts in these and I’ve also just worn them casually around the house. My biggest complaint is the lack of cushioning mid-foot. Instead there is a tight band that is supposed to support your foot. I find that this accomplishes the opposite effect. My mid-foot feels unsupported and odd.

My other complaints are durability and ease of use. After two washes the socks have already started fraying a good amount. This probably due to the acrylic used. When I wake up in the morning and put these on, the tight band prevents me from pulling it the socks on in one motion. It takes 2-3 motions to put on the socks because of the band, and it is quite annoying. The last issue is knit picking. Do not expect to wear these with average shoes. You will stretch out the uppers and feel pressure on your toe box (these socks increase you foot height). These are made for larger work shoes and boots.

I would not pay what I did for these again and will choose a competitor next time if I feel I need more socks with cushioning.

These probably would not be considered "too small," but beware. They are difficult to put on, and fit you very tight when wearing. They almost feel like they will cut off your circulation, but don't. I had already opened the package so won't return them, but I probably won't get any use out of them. I would STRONGLY suggest if you want to try these, that you order the next size up. I am a size 11 womens, so I ordered "large," which was I think size 11-13, but I wish I had gotten extra large. I still don't know if I would have liked them, though. I think I'd go with the soft-feeling regular Thorlos.

I have been needing some work socks and the ones out there are for men and they have been so big. Even though these are unisex they fit perfectly. I have always worn Thorlos to exercise in and they have never failed me in support and comfort for exercising. I was so glad to see them in a work sock for my boots. These socks have been a life saver and a foot saver. They have so much support and comfort. I have never had a sock that keeps its shape like the Thorlos brand. I can't want to tell all my coworkers about these socks because a lot of them are suffering. I don't know why it came up as an ad on my quest for work socks but I am glad it did. I only bought 2 pair just because I have been let down with a lot of socks that supposedly were great now I have bunches of socks that are useless. I am definitely buying several more pair. I bought these to see if they would help me with severe foot pain due to multiple neurological issues. I’m down to needing opioids or dealing with the pain. These socks provide light cushion, soft compression and reduce the pain level I feel. I have 2 pair and am working my way to a drawer full.

So felt compelled to share, love Tholo socks~ the only brand I buy however this model~not a huge fan, I’m on my feet long day so thought the 12 hour sock would fit the bill but I find them to fit short and narrow, not the typical Thorlo awesome fit outta the package, disappointed in my purchase.

I'm an essential worker and am on my feet for up to 10 hours a day. I tried these Thorlo's and they work as they should and did not disappoint. They aren't perfect. They shed, so when I get home I can't take these socks off and walk around barefoot. If I did my feet would leave little bits of lint all over. So I have to rinse off my feet in the shower, which is what I do anyway, after a 10 hour day at work!
They also are not left/ right foot specific, as the Nike Dri-Fits these are replacing, but I haven't found any thick socks that have that nice feature.

They didn't live up to the 12 hour shift expecence that I had... They were comfortable to start but as the hours go by and the end of my shift it was like regular socks ....
