We've Got Your Feet Covered

Moving with speed on uneven, shifting terrain requires your whole foot to perform naturally. Injinji Trail socks’ five-toe design minimizes friction between the toes to help eliminate blisters, gives your foot the freedom to splay on impact, and lets you utilize your entire foot on narrow, uneven trails. Mini-Crew lengths seal out debris, performance materials wick moisture and provide durability, and midweight cushioning delivers protection and comfort without bulk. These socks handle any distance – ultra runners love them – and are a Team Injinji favorite.

Injinji Trail Midweight Mini-Crew socks are unisex.

Injinji Trail Midweight Mini-Crew socks are perfect for road running, trail running, and any other demanding physical activities where your feet can benefit from the extra cushioning provided in these socks.

Stop Worrying About Your Feet

Injinji created a sock anatomically designed to your foot, and the five-toe sleeve design allows your toes to splay naturally and align properly, enabling greater stability and more comfort.

Blister Prevention

With each toe protected, skin-on-skin friction is completely eliminated protecting your foot from blisters and hot spots.

Total Foot Utilization

When your toes are separated, properly aligned and splayed, your weight is distributed evenly which allows your entire foot to be engaged in any athletic activity.

Moisture Management

Each toe is wrapped in sweat-wicking material so your foot will be drier and therefore more comfortable than in traditional socks.

In looking for socks for an upcoming thru-hike a friend suggested these toe socks as they "prevent blisters" and are "hella good at wicking moisture". Scepticism filled my mind, but I decided to buy a pair to see. After doing some test hikes in them...I have seen the light. My feet have never experienced this kind of comfort from a sock. I figured that the individual toes would be bulky and overbearing, but no. It feels like each toe is lovingly wrapped and caressed by a cloud. These are awesome socks. "But toe socks are for effeminates and hippies!" Said the man with blisters on his toes. You will outhike him.

i really, really want to like these sock. The idea seems great but in practice i just can't seem to get them to work for me. The sock fits well in all areas except the pinky toe on each foot. There is a lot of excess material on my pinky toe on each foot. During my first (and last) run with these socks, I ran a pretty brutal trail for only about 8 miles and my pinky toes were killing me!! At the end of the run, i took off my socks and my toenails were so sore. A few days later you could see the blister that had built up under each toenail and after that i got the dreaded black toenail on each foot. Mind you, this is the same pair of shoes that i've worn on the exact same trail for an entire 50K with other socks. When i used these socks, however, i couldn't even last 10 miles. The next day, I went back out in my normal drymax trail socks, and was able to run the exact same trail in the exact same shoes with absolutely no progressing problems. My nails didn't get any worse during that run but were still damaged from the prior day.

On top of all of that, after only an 8 mile run, the sock was starting to pill really bad between a few of the other toes. It was only an 8 mile run!!! wtf.

Needless to say, i really can't recommend these.

This was only sized by small, medium, and large, and purported to be a men's sock. My husband wears a size 10 shoe, but these were tight and uncomfortable, and while I thought I was getting crew sock style, the cuff came barely above his ankle. He already washed them and gave them to me, which I didn't need--I already have 3 pairs of Ininjis. However, this sock is obviously well-made, and I love all my Ininji socks. But fit is a big deal when buying clothing, so I gave it 4 stars. He was disappointed because he really wanted a pair for himself.

I wear a 10-1/2 men's shoe. I bought half a dozen pair of LARGE Injinji socks and loved them at first. I use them for running and they keep my toes separate and eliminate blistering. Great socks except that the shrink massively. I NEVER put them in the dryer but due to heavy sweating I wash them in hot water. The first batch I purchased shrunk so much that I gave them all to my wife. I then repurchased a bunch in the EXTRA-LARGE size. These have also shrunk to the point that I can no longer wear them. Sweaty socks need to be washed in hot water. Sorry, I'm not going to run a cold load of laundry just for a few pair of socks. So I've probably purchased a dozen pair of these and now my wife has them all.

These toe socks are very comfortable. As they only rise above the ankle, they are best for low-cut shoes (or minimal shoes). But they do not provide much warmth. (Injinji offers other toe socks built for warmth). As they do not cover the lower leg, I would not wear these for activities like hiking where having some lower leg protection is desirable (assuming you're wearing shorts). Despite being rated as "midweight," they feel thicker than the full-size midweight crew socks, especially after doing long walks.

Admittedly the look of toe socks might be a bit off-putting, but give them a try. They are smartly designed. Protecting each individual toe can help reduce the skin-on-skin rubbing that can cause blisters. I've been wearing toe socks for a while now and love them. They are a bit expensive ($20 for a single pair), but the quality is good and the fit is perfect.

I am not writing this review to warn you that this manufacturer is dangerous. I'm saying the socks are nice and seem to be durable BUT beware because you MAY have an allergic reaction to something in the material. I've never been known to be allergic to anything but within two days of wearing these socks, I developed such severe blisters that I thought I was going to lose my foot! Once I stopped wearing the socks, the foot healed. The reason I'm still recommending these socks is because there is no way for me to know if it was the socks or something else. I'm just noting what happened once I started wearing them. I am willing to change this review if I am shown different evidence.

I bought a pair of Birkenstocks to replace my household slippers and immediately realized how badly I had needed that arch support but then winter came and I was cold. Regular socks were too thick and felt like they would distort the footbed. I gave these Injinji's a shot and it was exactly what I needed. Thin enough and with toe flexibility to feel like bare feet and not flatten the cork footbed, warm and cozy for winter days. A grown man looks hideous in birkenstocks with toe socks but it's too comfortable for me to resist.

I was looking for a comfortable mid-weight running sock for an upcoming half marathon. These were made for the trail which would be just fine for me on the road. The height of the socks around the ankle was designed to be high enough to keep out debris on the trail and they were the perfect cut for me. These socks were my first experience with individual toe sleeves and it was comfortable.
I've come across running socks that get too thick for cushioning purposes. The cool max material keeps it light but there's definitely enough cushioning for long distance running. The Injinji Men's Trail Midweight Mini Crew Toesocks is a great midweight running sock that provides good cushioning, comfortable and made from quality materials.

I can't - for the life of me - see how this sock has no many positive reviews - not at this price point anyway!
Fake reviews maybe? - or perhaps everyone has been indoctrinated into some form of propaganda cult of progressive positivity!

First thing that rang slight alarm bells for me - when I received them - was the Coolmax brand.
For me - Coolmax socks generally belong in the Lidl/ Aldi sportswear bins at much lower prices- not marketed and sold for this sort of money. Coolmax was not stated in the description.
    Mistakenly - I tried them anyway;
1/ Far too short - not far off a 'no-show' sock - gaps around the ankles allow entry from the trail.
2/ Have an all overall coarse 'knitted feel to them, and do not feel particularly cushioned in any particular areas - no 'technical' feel to them.
3/ Un-snipped long tails of threads on the inside of every toe.
4/ Difficult/ fiddly to get them on - wouldn't want to have try and put these on in the middle of a race.
5/ Generate sore 'hotspots' - particularly on the outside of big toe - also feel movement/ slip on the sole.

I thought - mistakenly - they may be a good choice for long distance/ ultra trail running with Altra running shoes - allowing better toe splay, cushioning, etc.

Costly purchase mistake at around £16 - Had to spend that again to buy another pair of the Hilly Ultra Marathon socks. Not perfect but much better than these Injinji.

I've now put some good mileage on these socks and have found them to be every thing I require in a sock, i.e. comfy and no blisters or hot spots so far when using them with my Vivobarefoot trail shoes.
Having 'toes' on the socks is a bit weird at first, but I now prefer these socks to any of my normal hiking socks for walking longer distances.
They are an expensive sock, but I feel the price is worth it for the level of comfort I experience.

Fantastic feeling wearing these socks. They feel incredibly weird to begin with but once you're out running, you forget that you've got them on. They definitely prevent blisters on and between your toes. However they are made of very thin material and they've already developed holes around where your toes go. So this is disappointing after only 5 or 6, 10 mile runs.

Good for the big toes for me as mine are a bit separated from the second toe. However, developed a blister on the outside of 2nd toe which never happened before even at much longer distances. Only one toe in one foot though so may be unique to me.

Overall somewhat better than standard sports socks but with that one drawback for me. Haven't tried other dedicated running socks so not sure how they compare.

Socks looks well made and medium thickness. Felt soft and easy to put on. The first few steps felt a bit different, but within 200m walking distance, they felt completely normal. Only walked no more than 5-6 miles per trip so far, so can’t vouch for ‘blister-free’ properties on longer distances (20-30km per day) yet.
Happy enough with these to have ordered an extra pair of liner socks for another occasion.

Received these today , really comfortable to wear but thought the two smaller toes were a bit longer than they needed to be . Had a real comfortable run and found the toes were fitting better . Medium size fits me for my size 9 (UK) just fine . Gotta get some lightweight versions for the warmer weather now.
Thought the socks was a bit expensive but the fit , quality and comfy feet are great.

was able to previously walk for 2 hours before getting bad blisters under my small toes which are slightly deformed and lay sideways and tuck under the toe next to them. Tried these socks and attempted to walk the Purbeck Marathon Route. It wasn't until I got to around 7 hours (21 miles) that the little toes started to hurt and finally got blisters. I have since changed from running trainers to fitted trail shoes and tested them again last week with a 6 hour hike from Cranleigh to Ashington - no blisters just tired feet. Thanks Injinji these socks look to be life changing ! :)

Nice fit, nice feel. Amazon wants me to submit a product picture. Perverts.

Excellent socks to keep you blister free on longer runs. Pricey, but keeping your feet in good condition during the last sections of an ultra make them a good purchase.

Rather sceptical as to the comfort and quality of these socks when ordering but needed a pair for the Five Fingers shoes. Now amazed at both quality and comfort - certainly the best socks I have worn. Paired wonderfully with the FiveFingers and, after an initial period of 'that's odd', have become my firm favourite. Despite the odd glances and sarcasm from the family!

Took longer to arrive than expected but when they did I was glad I had waited - have only tried them out once over 25 miles but once on your feet you cant feel them at all - very comfortable

Have done multiple half marathon trail runs along with a few tough mudders, big fan of these! ZERO blisters :)

Yes they look odd and yes they are a bit interesting to put on but that said they are fantastic no blisters from three mud runs (wolf, Tough Mudder and a local one) in a month no dirt penatrating between toes despite being submerged in muck. I really rate these as a awesome trail running OCR sock because if the feet aren’t happy you certainly won’t be.

These socks are great for walking and running.

First off, they feel funny, not like normal socks, but after a while you get used to them. Bit of a pain getting them on as you have to get your toes into them one at a time. But after that they are very comfortable. Good price for them, and I will be trying them out with some long distance travel.
