Terrific breathable fabric for sports and very comfortable. Peep hole highly functional. Be careful on sizing as I've discovered Separatec products run a little large. I am a size 38/39 inch waist and for all other brands I take an XL. For Separatec, I always order a L. If you are between sizes (like I am) order to the lower size.

Here's the low down for those who chafe or have a man part that sticks to your leg.

Stops Chafing from legs rubbing- NO
Stops Scrotum Sticking to leg- NO
    Easy acces- Yes
    Bigger looking bulge- Yes
    Scrotum "pocket"- not really no
    Novel Idea- Yes

When I hike or walk long distance like I walked 140 Miles in Europe in 1 week or a bunch of walking at Disneyland I get major chafed area between the legs. Raw! Also my junk will stick to my leg. I've had to use mole skin before to stop legs rubbing together. This happens with regular boxer briefs.

I have been using the other brand that starts with S and ends with two Xs. And ya they have completely stopped my huge problem. My scrote and shaft do not stick to my leg at all and the protection goes so high that my legs dont rub and I have never had chafing when wearing them as far as I walk, even tons of miles. I love them.

Separatec... well interesting. They do not stop chafing from legs rubbing or sticky parts to legs. The area for the "scrotum" as they state in the manual is small. Mine just sit on there it's not a pocket at all, more like a looser area in the fabric. The shaft area basically hangs your boy out. It literally just folds a flap of material over your shaft and so you aren't inside the boxer briefs as you see in the photo with the banana. You have some major easy access however which I guess can be cool, but if you become any amount erect it will show through your pants like you're not wearing underwear, which you shouldn't be ashamed I'm just letting you know. Since your shaft goes through the hole it holds you boy up a bit at the base so your junk bulge is definitely bigger than normal because you shaft isnt just going straight down from your pelvis like it otherwise would. Also the area of fabric on the underside of my shaft starts to feel a bit weird because it is rubbing around on fabric. While I thought originally it wouldn't bother me it gives this slight annoying feel.

So I can see them for use in some situations. Have a bigger bulge and easy access for sure. I do not like them for long walks and they dont stop leg rubbing and stickiness. I think I I'll keep them for the latter two things but not for protection. It's the novelty :)

They are both amazing and terrible. Comfortable, and a nightmare. These are Schrodingers Boxers.
Your sausage goes into the hole, your danglies sit comfortably in the crotch. but after a long day of walking, the snake sometimes pops back into the hole, or halfway back in, which makes it rather uncomfortable. its near impossible to re-situate without a trip to the restroom. The same issue occurs at work, while sitting at my desk for longer periods of time, i guess the position of my hips and desk movements causes the sausage to slip back into the meat hammock. When its 'all in' or 'all out' its fine, but when you get those 'haflsies moments' its just uncomfortable. But maybe its just me, maybe you need to be a certain length or girth for these to be comfortable all the time.

I have owned a few different pair of boxer/briefs, by several different brand names in my time.
As everyone knows you get what you pay for. However these boxers break the mold!
I have never in my 40 years of wearing boxer/briefs have encountered one with such a comfortable comfortable fit, the proper amount of air flow, and general well-being with these boxers!
These are hands-down the best pair of boxer briefs I have ever owned!
Do yourself a favor and at least try them.
Mark my words, you will not be disappointed!

I purchased these for backpacking. I needed something to help stop chaffing and keep me drier. These have worked well. So far I have hiked just over 100 miles in 80-90 degree temperatures. They stay pretty dry, dry extremely fast, and my issues have ceased.

The separation these create is really nice. There is less contact and friction. This also reduces itch that sometimes occurs. I really like the way things are pulled up front. It gives me more area, freedom of movement, and keeps me cooler. Unlike some, they never felt odd to me. From the start they felt great. How you wear them makes a difference though. I found I have to pull the legs up some from the center to allow more room in the lower pouch. It also puts more material between my legs and other parts.

I do recommend these Separatec boxers if you need an good sports underwear.

When you first put them on, it's crazy weird. Like you're almost ashamed because it's not something society would approve of. As many people have said, it feels a little like you're not wearing any underwear; more specifically, it feels as if you're not wearing any underwear and you forgot to zip your zipper.

But after wearing them for a day, I ordered a pack of seven. During said day, I wore them with jeans and exercise shorts, drove, walked, jogged. Besides the weird "naked" feeling, I don't think I had to adjust myself all day (which is unheard of for me).

I've thought about this kind of design for a long time - briefs are too restrictive and bunch everything up, boxers are way too loose and unrestrictive, and boxer briefs are basically just the worst of all worlds. I've been a briefs man for a long time now because - despite trying several "amazing" new designs - nothing else worked. Until this.

I'm a recent fan of Separatec and absolutely love these drawers! I train in the gym regularly, which can lead to some discomfort and too much sweat in the groin area. That led me to search for new drawers to relieve this issue. These drawers not only fit well, they keep the groin area dryer than other drawers, even during intense training workouts. The dual-pouch system is ingenious! For me, it's much more comfortable to have the twig separated from the berries because I'm a fairly active guy. I highly recommend these drawers for other men who train or are active.

Bought these for my partner . He is a roofer and works long hot days so the concept of separation was intriguing . I was pleasantly surprised by the material, it’s like a thin but quality mesh material almost. He has been wearing them steady and has already asked for me to order another box so he has some for every day of the week :)

I bought these underwear for my husband. He told me these are very comfortable, fit fantastic throughout the butt and thighs and are made of a decent breathable material. The shorts stay put and don't ride up when used for running or bike riding. I would definitely purchase again for him and recommend them to others.
