These v-neck t-shirts arrived today! I was looking for black ones, but the only ones they offer in 5x or 6x are the plain White. I am a long-term shopper with the DXL stores, and have bought items on Amazon that were fulfilled and made by DXL.....
So when I say these are the same quality! Believe me they are the same quality. Their sizes are pretty accurate. And of course the biggest draw is the price point. 3... 5xl v-neck t-shirts by Harbor Bay sold by DXL cost $35. They are just as soft and as thick (not heavy) as Harbor Bay!!! And for a 5pk cost $22. I would have bought more and will buy more when different colors are available or when I need more.

Don't hesitate... I will update this review once I've actually washed them and see about their durability.

So here it is June 2019. They have held up. They did start to pill, especially around the neck. Not to bad though considering. I've pretty much washed them every single week since purchase, as I wear one everyday. Wish the arms were longer though. But again for the price you can't beat them. But the quality I would say the Harbor Bay are better. But more expensive. Would I buy again. Yes. Please make some in Black or gray......

I am irrationally picky about my giant men's v neck tees. Fruit of the Loom has a nice thickness, but the hems twist up after washing. Jockeys have nice hems, but are a little too thin and way too expensive.

These Amazon Essentials are really well made. Hems stayed nice and flat after laundry. Nice fabric thickness and bargain basement price!
I'm already looking at some sweats in the Essentials line.

I waited a couple of months before writing an review. I wanted to see how these shirts would hold up. The price is of these is perfect. I'm a big guy about 6'2, the length of these shirts was just right. Even after wearing these shirts and washing them multiple times. They have held up really well. Of course there was some shrinkage, but over all the length and fit have held up. I will be buying another set of these shirts again.

I've always been satisfied with Amazon basics until now. These shirts were nothing like a tall t-shirt and are 'basic'-ly useless for wearing under an outer shirt since they constantly come untucked due to the shortness of the torso. Maybe if I was 5'4 instead of 6' tall they might work but I won't be buying amazon basic clothing again anytime soon.

When these shirts first arrived they looked as if they would be a good product. Once I started wearing the shirts I immediately noticed that the collar band was stretching a enormous amount also that the shirt itself was stretching out I'm down becoming like a poncho.originally the shirts fit fine but with just one wearing they became extremely stretched out. The collar band was the worst part basically doubling in size on the first wearing of the shirts. I reordered another set of shirts to see if the package I gotten could have just been defective. That was not the case the new package of shirts active exactly as the first that I had ordered. I ended up changing to another brand Phoenix shirts. I purchased jockey v-neck shirts. The jockey v-necks had no problem with the neck bands or the shirt itself. They keep their size and fit. The only downside is the jockey shirts priced much higher in comparison.I would have to say they are worth the extra money to get a product that performs well and is able to be actually worn for more thing an hour without looking like it's melting off of you as these shirts do.

I was kind of skeptical about these tee shirts. I had purchased Hanes tee shirts earlier, they were so scratchy! So, I took the chance on these tee shirts from Amazon. Wow, I was totally impressed with the quality and softness! I will definitely buy these again! Highly recommend!

I have looked far and wide to .find a tee shirts like the old J.C. Penny tee shirt to no avail until I found these. These tee shirts have the same cotton/polyester mix just like the Towncraft. They fit well, very soft comfortable feel and are wrinkle free after wearing for a few minutes, (unlike the 100% cotton that stay wrinkled). These are cooler to the feel than the 100% cotton too.

These shirts are amazing. For the price you can’t beat it. I was apprehensive 5 at once, I only really needed three. But I don’t regret it. The only other 100% cotton big sizes in that price range I could find are Hanes. But their fabric isn’t soft like this, and require many wash before they get comfortable. The only qualm is why did Amazon have to write a book in three languages in guise of a neck label? It’s like a black spot that shows through to the other size. Tone down the ink. Lucky Brand for example prints them in a lighter or darker shade of the fabric color, so they are still really easy to read, but they don’t peer through.

I bought these with hesitation due to the fact whenever I buy shirts online the sizes are way off like Haines shirts will say 3xxx tall but when you get them, my wife who is a medium they fit perfectly, These are a great quality shirt and the sizes are perfect. Being that I am 6ft5 and 300 pounds this matters to me.
P.S. Alert Update If you buy these make sure you check the sizes to all shirts in the pack I got mine this morning tried one on and put the rest in drawer went to peek at them and see that the top one I tried on was the right size but the bottom 4 were 2 sizes too small...

UPDATE #2 Once I got the replacement shirts that had all the correct size these shirts are great size is perfect when washing they do shrink a bit but not much they are better than the Haines shirts, Haines are thin and easy to tear these are thick cotton and fit well as well as very breathable shirts.

My husband loved the feel of these undershirts. They wash well. He didn't like that the sleeves were a bit too long but they can be cut shorter.

The shirt is strange sized. The v neck is so deep it looks like a club dress for 3 and 4 xlt. The size is tall but it's not very wide.

My friend said they fit good & he liked them
