I'm always on the prowl for new, slim fit shirts so I gave these a try.

First, I'm very tall - 6'7", so I'm used to buying XL or XLT shirts. Just like "Big & Tall" stores mean "fat" and having nothing to do with height, these shirts are similarly designed. The XL length was short - shorter than any other XL shirt I've purchased. If I had some cool belly button ring to show off and people wanted to see the naked midriff of a NBA sized person, this shirt would be perfect.

If you stop gazing at my naked stomach, you'll notice there is nothing "slim fit" about this shirt. I can fit my dogs in here with me. One is a chowchow and the other is a weird hound looking mix. They aren't small. But this shirt has room.

Now, the best bit about this shirt is the material. It's super thick, akin to canvas. Not something you'd wear in the warmer climates, but if you were in the Yukon on a cold day and needed something both warm and durable, this shirt is perfect. Provided you also short and not concerned with fit.

Of course, this shirt cost somewhere around $5 (two packs are about $10), and it is insane in this world someone can grow cotton, ship it, mill it, manufacture a shirt, send it the United States, store it in a warehouse, then ship it again for five bucks.

It is exactly what you'd expect for five bucks - a poorly fitted, questionable quality shirt that will be perfect if you need a crappy shirt to paint in or you spend your afternoons lounging on an old couch on your front porch yelling at children to get off your lawn.

5’11” 170 lbs the large fit perfect out of the package. Washed in cold, dried on low heat and the shrinkage was pretty drastic. Usually wear medium and ordered large due to 100% cotton. The shirt is nicely made for wearing casual but be advised to order 1 to 2 sizes up since it is a tapered slim fit unless you like a tighter fit. Nice sleeve length.

The shirt is great and I have ordered more in other colors. Only downside and this is more to do with the images on the page not the product... the light pink is very pink so if you plan on using it as an undershirt for white shirts this will show through too much. As a plane shirt for wearing around the house it is perfect.

The shirt is soft. It might shrink a little in the wash. It does fit as expected even after a wash. The sleeves come down further than my Target branded undershirts. The shirt is thicker and can be used as a normal shirt if you don't want it as an undershirt.

The v-neck goes down far enough that if it is an undershirt you can leave the top button not buttoned with it not showing underneath.

I would try one pack and see if this shirt works out then order the other colors you like and adjust the size if needed.

There are not too many Slim fitting t-shirts out there and this one is perfect. Regular t-shirts are baggy and easily seen under dress shirts. This t-shirt is slim fit, good quality (not that thin stuff you get from other products), and at a great price. I ordered both black and white and I love them!

Disappointed the V is not deep enough so shirt is seen when under a dress shirt with just one button undone.

The material in these shirts is amazing. I just want an inexpensive V-neck, pocketless, tshirt that will last. Gold Toe is disappointing lately with a lack of color variety and V-neck availability. Additionally Gold Toe has begun using a material that easily becomes full of holes after 3-4 washes. While the fabric is heavier, it's probably true I can't get a thinner tshirt w/o getting these holes. Hanes cannot compare. I'll switch to Amazon Essentials for my hot summer needs. These and the cargo shorts are all I need. Thanks, Amazon, will buy again.

These are great quality for the price. The fit is slim, which is what I wanted. The fabric is heavy, heavier than other brands, very white (hard to describe but it's a whiter white than others), quite heavy, fairly soft, with decent stretch, and looks great. Way better than the major brands you buy at big box stores. Probably better than half the ones you buy at nicer department stores too. The sleeves are weirdly longer than other undershirts I've tried. I personally don't like that but if you sweat a lot or need to cover bigger arms and not have them ride up it might be a benefit for you. They are very slim over the waist and hips. Slimmer than other slim fit shirts. Long enough to stay tucked and slim enough not to make you look bulky in the waist or hips. Great for under slim fit button downs with slim fit pants. no extra fabric to tuck in and look bulky. The V-neck is shallower than other brands (have to take off glasses to get on/off), so no escaping chest hair with these. I bought and extra small and am 5'2", 135lbs, 37" chest, 33" waist, 39" hip. Hips are like a compression garment on me, but I admit to needing to lose weight. Fit is great otherwise and should fit a cis-male with similar measurements very well (or anyone with <35" hips). Extra small size measurements: shoulder hem to shoulder hem across back measures 16.5", back length from center neck to center back not including collar is 26", so much longer than other undershirts of a similar size. Measurements are after normal washing and drying in electric dryer. Didn't notice any significant shrinking. Very nice undershirts for the price. Kudos, Amazon.

It is a simple white t-shirt, but thinker weight cloth that makes it acceptable for the wintertime in New England. However, I would never wear it during the summer months or even a warm spring or fall day in Boston. It would just be too warm. Other than that, though, it seems decent enough -- notably cheaper -- less than half of what I normally pay. The slim fit was a slim-fit, so I liked that part as well. I bought the medium size and I'm just shy of 6' and usually weigh around 165, so it's a great match for a runner like me with a typical runners build.

Really good, they don’t shrink and keep their shape

I like the price, colours, and shape of these shirts. However, the inconsistency with the sizing is ridiculous. In my photo there are two shirts, size medium. The black one fits me great and has fit me the same since I got it, before and after washing. So I ordered some grey ones this time (or charcoal heather, I guess) and it has to be at least an XL. I could've sworn that Amazon itself said that a major benefit of these Essentials lines is consistent sizing, but... clearly someone didn't get the message.

Not really slim fit. I can only imagine what the non slim fit ones are like. They look ugly. They don't look as shapely as in the product images.

The V is not too deep which I like, just a very subtle V neck. Where I live in Canada medium shirts are usually slightly too tight but I accept it since large ones are way too big. This medium fits me very well and might even be a little loose. Definitely different sizing than in Canada I would say, but I am very pleased with this shirt, nice quality

I am 6", 178 lbs with a 32" waist. I ordered the medium and it fits great. It was a little looser before I washed and put it in the dryer, but it was still definitely a slim fit. After washing and drying it the shirt shrunk 0.75" in the length and maybe 0.5-0.75" in the chest, so it fits pretty snug now. I would not want it slimmer and the medium is too form fitting for my liking to be worn alone, but it is great for wearing under a dress shirt for work which is what I wanted. The quality is very good, nice and thick cotton. My only complaint is that Amazon does not keep these shirts stocked in all sizes and colours consistently in Canada.

Update 11/2019: I bought these shits in the large size. Large is more comfortable for me, but I still wear the mediums under my slim/ tailored cut dress shirts.

Perplessita' iniziale per quel 40%di poliestere della composizione del tessuto scomparsa dopo l'uso in quanto non crea i soliti problemi di cattivo odore tipico dei materiali sintetici dopo poche ore che si sono indossati, inoltre dopo un paio di lavaggi non si sono ristrette ne scolorite. Die Amazon Essentials Shirts in schmaler Passform passen wirklich gut, da ich einen schlanken Körperbau habe. Der Stoff fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an und die Shirts riechen auch nicht unangenehm nach Chemie, wie man das von manchen "Modehäusern" kennt.
Die Farben sind klasse und die Verarbeitung ist toll.
Ich bin schon sehr gespannt wie sie sich im Langzeittest schlagen, wie gut die Farben und der Stoff bzw die Nähte erhalten bleiben.

Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Die Größen sind bei allen Farben (habe bis auf 2 Farben alle) gleich, nur die Weißen scheinen einen Tick kleiner zu sein, aber das stört nicht.
Das bedeutet, wenn euch eine Farbe passt, könnt ihr ruhig auch die anderen Farben bestellen, die werden auch passen.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden und wenn die Shirts auch langzeit durchhalten, dann kauf ich nur noch bei Amazon.

Dieses AMAZON-T-Shirt passt gut, läuft auch nicht ein oder verliert Farbe. Aber leider zieht es auch Fusseln an und von daher würde ich es nicht wieder kaufen. Die Qualität des Stoffes entspricht dem Preis und ist mit "lala" am besten zu beschreiben.
Wer ein Shirt zum Drunterziehen oder als Schlafanzug braucht, kann es kaufen.
Wer damit in der Öffentlichkeit herumlaufen will, sollte sich lieber eines von HAKRO oder HANES kaufen.

Die Auswahl der Größe ist irreführend! "US XXL (EU XXXL-4XL)" in Verbindung mit "Fällt gross aus; eventuell eine Größe kleiner bestellen " hat mich, einen 4XL Träger, dazu verleitet diese Shirts zu kaufen. Auch weil ich sie unter "Amazon Essentials" gefunden habe.
Sie sind schlicht und einfach 2XL. Nur aufgrund der irreführenden Angaben wurden sie überhaupt angezeigt, obwohl ich nach 4XL gefiltert hatte. Das ist wirklich peinlich, Amazon!

Die T Shirts hab ich für meinen Vater bestellt, da wir schnell für einen KH Aufenthalt welche brauchten.
Er trägt normalerweise XXL ( ziemlicher Bauch) und die Tshirts passten am Bauch super, waren dann aber im Schulterbereich zu weit. Deshalb einen Stern Abzug. Ausserdem fallen sie auch recht lang aus, mein Vater ist allerdings auch kein Riese. Die Qualität ist gut, kein Geruch und nach dem Waschen kein Farbverlust

This is the second set of amazon basics vnecks I've tried. This one is a bit better quality (not semi translucent at least) but it feels stiff and is not as soft as something as basic as an h&m tee.

So, this will probably be my last amazon basics clothing purchase. Super unimpressed overall.

Good basic shirts. Good quality. Fits a bit larger than expected. Not sure i would call it slim fit necessarily.

Queste magliette sono veramente ottime, cotone di alta qualità e ben fatte, le ho già lavate diverse volte e non si sono minimamente deformate, la taglia é giusta.
