What a shame. They cheapened these briefs ONE too many times.
The material is fine but the ELASTIC disintegrates after a couple of washings. PATHETIC. It becomes BRITTLE and CRACKS when you stretch it.
I do NOT use bleach. I use WARM water wash
I dry at the REGULAR heat setting.
After washing these briefs, stretch them with your hands and you will hear the elastic cracking. IT IS BRITTLE. They then no longer stay on your body.
THEY WILL FALL DOWN,
I still have ANCIENT briefs by other manufacturers where the cloth is WORN, but the elastic is still perfect.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING HANES??? The last few packages of briefs I bought from you are HORRIBLE ! ! !

I'm not certain how many times I've ordered this product but the other (2-3) times they were black and gray like the picture. This time they came in 'assorted colors'. Dark red, bright blue, That wasn't what I ordered in the past and it wasn't what I asked for this time. But to go to the trouble of mailing everything back to you is problematic. So I guess I'm stuck with something you couldn't unload. Not happy at all.

Don't be conned, Hanes sneaked in a new design in which the elastic is so poor as to leave heretofore members easy escape. No support at all. They had a great product and substituted a poor one. The old style was called Hanes Ultimate Men's 6-Pack Classics Full-Cut Brief, Assorted; whereas, the new style is Hanes Ultimate Men's FreshIQ ComfortSoft Briefs (7 Pack). Even when they advertise the former, what you actually receive is the latter.

I've purchased these a few times before. My main reason for replacing some is that the elastic seems to stretch out in some of them quicker than others. In the past, they have usually been mostly black and gray with an occasional navy blue. This time there were two light blues in the bunch. I know the description says assorted colors, but the picture shows there's an assortment of gray and black, so I was definitely not expecting the light blue. I'm writing this just in case there are those who may not want light blue. I really wish they had a pair of all black.

I know this sounds weird, but the solid black ones always seem to fit smaller than the rest of the colors. Not sure if that's my imagination, coincidence? Maybe something about the color that restricts the flexibility of the material? I don't know. I'm not a scientist. But I swear...

I like them though. Keeps everything in place haha They are durable and most importantly the waistbands hold up well.

I like these classics more than the fresh iq line. These are 100% cotton even the greys unlike other products. No issues with them so far bought the first pack back in June just reordered 2 packs as some of my older underwear needed throwing out.

Well... its underwear... either its fits nice and comfy OR it does not. In this case all I can say is that they give a very nice fit. As for the material, it is soft and "cottony". Others here have complained about it being a bit too thin, but I don't find this to be an issue as the material has to keep your private part cool and at a good temperature to aid in good sperm production. I love these underwear and I would purchase again.

I love it Not only do these underwear have quality and comfort they are an amazing value as well - I am very happy with the purchase.I compared these to similar priced Fruit of the Loom briefs and found the Hanes fabric and cut is far superior.
They are almost as nice as similar boxer briefs by Calvin Klein (just a little less sexy). Very comfortable and soft underwear. Dont expect that they last very long, but for the price theyre comfortable and nice. Recomended.
