Quick Notes: I used to be a boxer short only guy, but transitioned to boxer briefs for a while, then to sports trunks, then to trunks and finally settled on this type of underwear, so do note I have a preference to these types of drawers. I sleep in regular boxer shorts, but my days are active and I prefer the security of trunks. I also don't like underwar's that just squash everything or surrender and loose comfort throughout the day.

Great pair of trunks, but nearly impossible to find under $22 a pair, which is nuts. $15 for a pair of any unders would be reasonable, but sometimes these are just too expensive, especially at the original price of $35. However, that being said, I think that out of all Calvin Klein underwear, these are my personal favorite—so I'll add a third star.

The quality of these trunks is amazing. Don't get the "limited edition" two color toned variants of the Air FX as they seem to have a different fabric composition, these regular ones are soft, silky and have an incredible feel. The seams on this trunk are very well tailored and done perfectly, nothing itches or is irritating. They hold up all day and fit perfectly even after multiple washes.

The Squat Test: ★★★★★
Call me whatever, but this is the best way that I found to see if I'll like a pair of underwear long term. Put them on, squat, and get back up. If they rebound to the same supportive comfort that they were before, then we're golden. This is a simple test, but I've tried over 15 brands and not many can do this well and very, very, few can do this perfectly.

The Calvin Klein Air FX trunks pass this test with flying colors. Unlike some of their underwear, although I haven't tried a lot from the CK brand, these have a well contoured pocket that goes low enough to where even when you squat it helps retain all the support and springs right back when you stand up. Also, some underwear have basically a no-bulge pouch that just smashes everything to oblivion as if you're about to go swim some olympic laps and you need the one hundred thousandths of a second shaved off. Once again, these are perfectly tailored where you have the support and room to feel comfortable in, but small enough to contour and offer support. They also don't ride up as much as other trunks, particularly cotton ones. I don't think they offer much in the line of being "cool" but they arent hot either and wick moisture very well to prevent chafing.

The Look: ★★★★☆
I like the dark blue cobalt ones, but I also got the brilliant red and it's more of a intense, dark pink. It looks red at first glance, but in some light it looks like dark pink. Also, in bright light you can kind of see through them in the back—something to think about. Other than that, they look like just regular trunks, I'd be cool if the stitching lines where in a contrasting color, but who really looks at that anyway.

Although expensive for a single pair of underwear, they are extremely comfortable. They pass the infamous worldwide ArtSHOW Squat Test(TM) rating with flying colors. They are silky soft, supportive, and unlike cotton trucks, keep their shape, don't ride up at much—for me at all—and stay supportive all day.

My favorite boxer-briefs of all time are UA Boxerjocks. However, wearing the exact same style for years and years gets tiring. I initially thought I wanted briefs, so found my way to the Air FX briefs, which are great. They are the best briefs ever and very supportive. However, in this day and age I feel pretty self-conscious wearing briefs. So, I made a compromise and went to the trunk version. It rides up to something just like a brief but still decidedly boxer-brief. It has most of the comfort, support, and looks of the Air FX brief with just enough modesty to walk through the house without feeling embarrassed or singling yourself out as that guy who wears briefs. Makes me feel right both physically and socially.

I love these Calvin Klein microfiber stretch underwear. The material feels better and is far lighter than regular cotton underwear and less restricting because of the materials stretching capability.

The low-rise design makes for a more comfortable fit than traditionally styled briefs. I like the fact that the underwear rides further down your leg than regular briefs, but not so far as you would find on any number of CK boxers briefs. I also like that the center pouch that holds your manhood in place is very comfortable and is flattering, even if you are only on the side of average. You cannot say that about a lot of underwear.

Lastly, I like that the underwear comes in as many as sixteen colors, so what ever your flavor is you should find a good color match.

If you are not sure if you want to go via this low rise design, still consider buying another CK microfiber material underwear because it really is comfy.

Fit is great the reason for 4 stars is these were purchased to help displace the summer heat and cool me down some they were not as efficient as my CK modal but they do fit great and keep everything in place as they should if you need a little more support than the modal I highly recommend these but you will perspire heavily in these if you work outside in a hot climate

These were great for the first year I had them, but after being washed/worn a few times the fabric starts to get pills that snag on the inside of your jeans. It's the strangest thing. You can literally feel them being ripped off the underwear by your jeans as you walk. They fit great and actually breathe. The wife likes 'em so take that for what it's worth.

In principle these look nice—supposedly my size would be a medium, but the fit wasn't right for the trunks and the support wasn't where it needed to be. It's a tough trade-off, but these didn't work for me. The color was also not as vibrant as pictured.

I didn't like the way they felt on me. I would have expected better from CK. I would not have purchased this style and fabric if I knew now the quality and style of this product.

Very comfortable. Lightweight and moisture-wicking. Look good too. Wore all day without tugging and adjusting. I have a 34 waist and the large fit perfectly. Bought another pair but only one as they are a little pricey. Can't comment on quality yet but seem well constructed.

The underwear fit as expected and very comfortable.... but the color faded after the first wash. It started out with a rich cobalt blue and faded to a pale blue. Really disappointed, as I liked the original color.

These pants are super comfy, look good and wash without fading or getting bobbly. They seem good value to me.
