Cahmon Hanes...think for a sec! Look at all the other stylish undies similar to these. They all have smaller waste bands. The bands on these are WIDE, and have HUGE "HANES" logo all the way around. You could have made the band smaller/narrower, which would save you money, and made the logo smaller and more stylish. You could then increase the price of these and they would compete with any luxury boxer briefs out there. With a smaller band and less bold logos I would gladly pay an extra $5 a pack. The band (size M) seems to run a tad small, but I'm sure it will also loosen a bit over time. I also need to lose a couple lbs...

That being said, these are nice. They dont ride up my thighs, dont seem to wedge, the pouch is nice for extra room and comfort, and they seem to be good quality. All in all I'm happy with these, but they could be better with a tiny tweak as others have noted.

The worst thing about these is the HUGE HANES BRANDING ON THE ELASTIC, WHICH IS REALLY OBVIOUS if your pants or shorts fall slightly below your waist at all. Kind of OBNOXIOUS, Hanes, don't you think?

Otherwise, these are comfortable and fit well, so I'm happy enough with them.

On one hand, these are great boxer briefs; they're nice material, the wide waistband doesn't dig into the skin, the longer legs prevent riding up, and the contoured pouch supports "the goods" comfortably. However, the sizing is a real mystery to me: I've worn Hanes boxers or boxer briefs as long as I can remember, and always in a size M, but these run incredibly small. I'm 5'11" and 155-160, and even the L was too snug! I had to order an XL to get a fit that wasn't super tight, and I've never worn an XL in anything- shorts, pants, shirts, underwear, or otherwise- in my life. Very, very strange!

Very very soft, supportive and breathable. The waistband is a bit tight for my liking based on the size chart they gave. I wear a 36-38" waist and the large were a bit tight. Would buy again just one size up, actually may do that now.

I bought these because they are a blend fabric, they fit fine after the first washing/drying. I followed the care instructions. About the sixth wash/dry, they started shrinking. Not in the waist or across the hip, the leg length went from mid thigh comfortable to swim trunk short. The flex in the fabric has held up width wise, the top and bottom are closer together length wise. They are serviceable, just not comfortable. Particularly when you're sitting.

Update: After several washings, they are softer and have have a more relaxed fit. They did stretch a bit from wearing, but aren't out of shape or elasticity. The leg does like to ride up, not as much as in the first review. So, I added a star, they are much better fit wise and I would buy them again.

The feel great, fit well and seem to perform well (after a few months of use). For comparison I also bought David Archy Men's Ultra Soft Micro Modal Boxer Briefs at the same time, and after a few months of use, I definitely prefer the Hanes. The David Archy undies are really nice, and sexier in their look and feel, but more snug around on my "family jewels" than I prefer. In comparison, the Hanes still offer a little but of support -- which I like when running -- but also give me enough swing space that I don't feel like I am threatening my sperm production by wearing them all day.

I took the advice of the other reviewer and ordered a size up and glad I did. I usually wear a 34 waist, but went for the larger size and I could see the medium being too small. The waist band doesn't bother me as it has some others, but I agree, branding size is a little much. The fit is comfortable and light and they seem to wash well. These are my first "longer" thigh briefs and while everything else is good, I prefer a shorter (mid-thigh) length. It may be because they do ride up slightly on the leg through the day (but not bad enough to complain) or just my personal preference. Good deal in any case though.

Hanes first real entry into the “luxury” underwear realm has a lot to offer. Superior material and construction over their basic offerings, seem to be holding up well with multiple washes. I always seem to fall between a small and a medium and opted for a medium in this case for a bit of breathing room. Definitely the right choice.

Will switch to this brand from boxers
