ABSOLUTELY buy a size up if you have a 38-40" waist. I'm ALWAYS an XL in Hanes Fruit-o-the Loom, etc. Not these. These are XXL and they ABSOLUTELY shrink, so take that into consideration, Be aware how many times buying a size up is mentioned in all the other reviews. The material is very nice and is VERY soft. The fit takes a little getting used to if you normally wear "shorts" style boxers, but after a few wearings you won't even notice them. In hot weather they actually DO stay put, unlike regular boxers that stick and move all over the place and drive you insane. If you don't have a butt, like I don't, you're probably used to pulling your pants up frequently especially when doing physical labor, belt or no belt. You have to be aware that it's just your pants falling down and NOT these boxers. At first, many times I grabbed the waistband of my pants AND my boxers and it seemed like these were no different than "regular" boxers. NOT the case. You gotta remember that and be aware of what lower body garment is actually moving. Pay attention and you'll see it's your pants that are falling down/moving, not these boxer/briefs.

As far as the "moisture wicking" properties, they don't feel ANY different than 100% cotton boxers to me to me. No cooler, no drier. No more moisture wicking than regular boxers. However, they DO stay put, which is great. The fact they're not tagless I found irrelevant. I don't notice the tag. In fact, I like the tag, as it's just a little bit easier to orient them when you're late for work and in "panic" get ready mode.

If it wasn't for the significant sizing discrepancy mentioned in so many reviews (which is exacerbated by the subsequent shrinking after the first few washes), and the fact I didn't find ANY cooling/moisture wicking, etc properties, I'd rate these 5 stars easily. They STAY PUT and that's all I wanted. Maybe if I wasn't wearing pants I'd notice the moisture wicking, heat dispersing properties, but pants are required at most places I go.

With that said, they DO STAY PUT providing you aren't inadvertently moving them around if you frequently have to pull your pants up. And the fact they stay put in hot weather, when you're sweating, makes them my hands down go-to warm weather boxers. During cooler weather I'll likely go back to my old Hanes 100% cotton boxers.

I'd absolutely buy them again. I'm already on my 2nd 6 pack. these should be stocked by Amazon so as to be available as a Prime item.

Listen, anyone who doesn't want to read about what goes inside a man's underpants, you should stop reading this review right now.

So, look, I don't know about you, but summer time just conjures up a lot of sweat in my crotch region. A lot of underwear has left me really damp if I'm outside for more than an hour, once we crank past 80 degrees. And then you get to chaffing, both in scrotal region, thighs just below that region, and sometimes on the cheeks when it gets really bad. And it is just a swamp back there.
Fast forward to these boxer briefs. The material is so breathable, I'm sweating maybe half as much, if even. Literally didn't even have to put on the Gold Bond this week. And the material is some form of microfiber, so when you do get damp, it doesn't chafe the way standard cotton does. Longest review I've ever written on here, but it was worth it. Definitely need to buy myself more of these.

I picked up a pack of these to replace underwear I had gotten at Costco. Also Champion. Same size. I realize the ones I had are older and may have been stretched out a bit but these I just bought are at least one size and maybe 2 sizes smaller from a feel perspective. Waist is fine, but the legs, around the hips and across the butt feel like they were made to fit an 11 year old boy. If I were to get a bigger size they would be huge in the waist.

Not comfortable at all. I would say the XL size would be appropriate for my 150# 16 year old.

Bought more at Costco after I got these. They will be my new standard. Got these for exercise. I have big muscular thighs and chafing can be an issues on a long run and these fix that issue. I normally I like my boys to have some room but even though these are snug the moisture-wicking works and keeps them comfortable all day.

These are sized small. In addition, they have a short inseam, nothing like what is picture. Once on, the legs are only 2" below the crotch and then they ride up.
Don't waste your money. I'd return mine but I had to wear them to discover this problem.
    Hope this helps

I like Champion stuff, long lasting, comfortable, always fits right. I wear a Large, underwear, shorts, shirts, and have always fit right. This one is either a youth size or Champion quality is slipping. They may fit a 10 year old slim boy at best. I open one pack to try first, and it was way small. Since it was open, I got them wet and try to stretch them. After 2 days, they are still good enough for a Ken doll. Washed and dried as per instructions, stretched them again for 2 days, and still tiny. I will still buy Champion as I wear it daily and they last longer than Underarmor, but better to buy one at a time to make sure they are true to size before wasting money on a pack of 6. Very disappointing.

The best damn underwear I’ve ever owned. Literally has completely gotten rid of swamp ass and it really does breathe very well. They don’t ride up and they just fit. I wish however that waistband was reinforced because if you have any gut whatsoever even just a tiny one, it will cause the waist band to fold over and it can get annoying especially when it’s hot out. Other than that these things kick a$$ and I highly recommend them!

These are the ONLY briefs that fit my hubby well. He has a bigger posterior and smaller waist, and most briefs don't accommodate his rear end. We buy the grey ones because the black ones seem to stretch out more quickly, not sure why.
