This is the second vest in this style I purchased. I cannot say one bad thing about them except:
1. I'm 6'2" and the vest was almost too short for me.
2. It ran a little large (I bought an XL) and the strap in back was not very effective in tightening it up.
But neither of those two things stopped me from purchasing this second one.

Lasted all of about six hours before the first button failed.

This was a cheap vest, with no pockets or other useful features. The plaid pattern is printed on the cloth, not woven into it.

Wore it once to a Christmas Eve service, then again the next morning around the house. Then the first button failed. It wasn't the thread that broke, it was the metal loop on the back of the button. I would have to replace all of them to wear the vest again.

 We ordered this for my husband's work Christmas party on the 6th in an XS and it was still an inch and a half to wide and an inch and a half to long. I ended up having to hem it on the sides and shoulders so it would fit him. The size demotions should be remeasured. Returning it was not an option as it's too close to next months event. Luckily after doing the alterations it now fits him.

I love this vest. It looks great! Sadly, the Large was huge on me (despite the fact that I'm a perfect 42" chest). It's going back, but I've already ordered a Medium!!

Very good for the price. I am a 44 chest with a "toned" body. The chest fit well, but even after adjusting the back, I needed to bring it in more in the waist. Would not be an issue when wearing a jacket, but without a jacket, it needed adjusting.

I got a lot of compliments, and it was perfect for holiday parties.

For Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, this is perfect. I replaced the tie with a bow tie, but it very nice. Good quality.

Not as expected but usable and adequate.
