Ordered 3 brands of rainsuits with the intention of comparing and returning two: **1) Mens Waterproof Rainsuit With Hood SWISSWELL Black Large ($40), **2) Result Mens Heavyweight Waterproof Rain Suit (Jacket & Trouser Suit) (L) (Black) ($23), and **3) Frogg Toggs Men's All Sports Rain and Wind Suit, Black, Large ($40). In the end, chose Swisswell. Swisswell seemed to have the best fit, style, and functionality. **1 Swiswell’s fit over my clothing and have their own pockets (no pass through holes). The material seems as though it would absorb water but a quick test under the faucet proved otherwise. Not sure how well these will breathe but I’m confident they’ll keep my dry. The appearance, fit, and Velcro/drawstrings in all the right places made this the top choice of the three. However, I don’t care for the left handed zipper. Will update after use. **2) Results: very rubbery looking and tighter than the other two. If I’d liked this I would have re-ordered a size larger for sure. This one is fine for minimal use or if your budget is below the $40 price of the other two but it came in last place for preference with me. Difficult to get back into the original bag but the only one of the three tested that has it’s own storage bag. Has pass through slots for access to pockets in clothing underneath. Also has annoying left handed zipper. C’mon, get it right China. **3)Frogg Toggs were quite large and made of the reusable grocery bag material which was probably the most breathable of the three, but I didn’t like that it did not have pockets or pass through holes (to access pant pockets underneath). If I’m standing watching my daughter’s soccer game, I want pockets for my hands so pocketless top and bottom was a deal breaker for me. These were the best at putting on quickly over clothing. The removable hood was huge and I felt I could have fit a helmet underneath. Also only one of the three with right handed zipper operation (finally!) This was a close second and I knew primary use would be worn over heavier clothing it probably would have been the winner.

Basically, this suit works. It's what you'd expect for the price and description. I use it to walk my dog in the rainy winter season in northern California (about 3 month). If I'm careful, I hope it will last a couple seasons. It's not for work! I'm sure it won't hold up if you need to keep dry on the job all day and the work is active. Also, it doesn't breathe, which is not a big problem for me on my 45 min cool weather walks. However, if you're in a warm, humid climate, you'll be as wet inside as out.

These came neatly packaged in their own stuff bag. The product is what you pay for. The jacket has a hood attached but nowhere to roll it up into the collar. They are a little thin but seem to be constructed well. Time will tell. I am disappointed that they run really small, on the pants and just somewhat small on the jacket.. I ordered both the large and XL. The large pants I would say are between a small and medium (at least I only ordered 1 pair of large) I ordered 3 pairs of XL. Those pants were small on someone that wears a 34x30 pants. My recommendation would be to order up a size or two. They arrived when indicated with free shipping. They were shipped from Belgium and there was no way to track the package. I took a couple of weeks to receive them.

It's the best rain suit I ever wore but, as soon as I put my hand in the pocket of the pants to retrieve money, the pants ripped. What can be done about this?

Purchased by farmer to pressure wash farm equipment. Used several full days in a row. Great suit! Stayed dry and material did not tear. We have purchased all types and brands of suits year after year. This one hit the mark. The sleeves were a bit short for long armed men. The jacket allowed for arm and shoulder movement without a coat underneath.

Pants ripped from crotch to the back of the knee on the second use. I was framing the first day, roofing the second. Heavyweight is inaccurate, pocket holes in pants are a good spot for water to get in.

Great product, fits well and keeps me bone dry. I use it for construction and was concerned about durability but it's as durable as you can expect from a rain suit and it has ever feature that your can expect from a high dollar rain suit.

Great Rain suit. Fits as sized and is heavy duty as well. Unlike the junk from Coleman, this rain suit really delivers.
I wear it often but so far so good. The other brands lasted me only six months.

    Absolute piece of garbage!!!!
I ordered a size bigger in order to fit over my normal clothes when washing my car during the winter months.
The fit was good with enough room to move freely without being too loose. That's what the 1 star is for.
However, the first time I bent down, the trousers ripped down the side from waist to knee.
    Not fit for purpose!!!
    Total waste of money!!!

Looks good feels strong and comfortable it feels like it’s good quality. It arrived in the time that was predicted very good

Can't argue at all for the price, kept me dry, I'd suggest wearing light clothing when wearing this during cycling as the warmth from your body can create moisture within the the jacket.

my sons said it is really good and comfortable to wear and would definitely recommend it to people who rides motorbikes

Great quality and amazing value .. only used once up north but live in London weather better .

Excellent, keeps hubby dry when having to work out in the rain

Happy with this! The XL size is fine for someone 6' and 35" waist.

Fit nicely but both sides of trousers have split and only warn them twice

The jacket is rubbish it tore very easily would not buy again

    Fits in with perfectly.

Lasted 3 days before jacket and trousers ripped apart definately not heavyweight not pleased at all with this product

Good for short period under the water not all day long

Great quality. Used for delivering parcels. At times there is very heavy rainfall.
    Material keeps you very warm

I thought it would have been heavier. But i am very pleased. It is definitely waterproof
