I got this tux in a hurry, so I didn't pay much attention to its style until after I ordered it. Notice the lapel is notched not peak or shawl, the button is two not one, the pockets have flaps. It's just a business suit with satin lapels. I think the tux being a dinner jacket should have a more elegant yet formal style, so shawl or peak lapel with one button and no pocket flaps would be my preference.

Update: Total rip-off!!! The Calvin Klein Tuxedo is the same cut as the Calvin Klein Slim-Fit Suit. See photo. It's just a black suit with satin lapel and pocket accents. If you want to wear this to an event, I recommend a black necktie, not a bowtie, else you'll look like Colonel Sanders.

This is a very nice tux. I thought it was modern fit, but I think it is actually more slim fit. Anyway I had to have a few alterations done like letting out the waist one inch and the jacket just a bit, and of couse the pants hemmed. So there was enough room in the jacket to let it out so it could be buttoned without any pull, and there was plenty in the waist material to be worked with. The tux looks great and seems to be of a very good quality. Very pleased with it so far.

The tuxedo is absolutely and the quality is exactly what you would expect from Calvin Klein. The only thing I either didn't read in the description or it wasn't in the description, was that the pants didn't a finished hem at the bottom. The fit was exactly per the description. This was purchased for my son who had a formal event to attend and then also high school prom. The cost to rent a tuxedo for the 2 events was $20 less than just purchasing one that he will have for years to come.
We measured for the coat, subtracted 6 inches from that to get the pants size. He is 5'11/6ft and about 170lbs.
This is a highly recommended tuxedo.

This is a good looking tuxedo. My son looked fantastic. He received many compliments. It fit well and now he has a tux for future events if he needs it. The pants arrived unhemmed and you will need to get them hemmed. Just be sure to allow enough time to get that done. But, a tux that can be re-used many times and looks fantastic is better than renting one in my opinion. Thank you Calvin Klein and Amazon.

This fit as I expected after reading the reviews. It is slim cut, my guy is 6 foot 1 and super slender. The tux looked great on him, but we ultimately decided to return it and go with a Calvin Klein Black Suit, that was made from the safe fabric, as the event we needed it for can go slightly less formal and the suit gave almost the same look and can be dressed further down for versatility. I would recommend this Tux to anyone looking for an alternative to renting that once or twice a lifetime.

The tuxedo seems to be well made, however, it is not a slim fit suit. If you are looking for a slim fit, I would recommend buying one size smaller. I will be returning it for a smaller size.

Price:quality ratio is outstanding. For someone who expects to need a tux fairly infrequently, I needed something presentable but not exorbitant. This looks more expensive than it costs.

My only gripe so far is with the term “modern fit”. This might lead you to believe it is a slim fitting suit which I would protest. I purchased the 38 R jacket with paired 32 inseem pants. The fit might be slightly more tailored than something from the 90s. However, I elected to have both the pants and jacket taken in for more of a slim fit. That said, I still came out much cheaper than if I’d bought a $500+ tux. Hoping it lasts me a while.

I used to have my own tux years ago and it fit really well. These days I have been renting tuxes and have been less impressed with the overall look. But this tux was a perfect fit upon arrival and gave me that svelte look that Bond always has. I believe tuxes look better when they fit snug on a slim body, maybe not for other body types. I also picked up a tuxedo shirt, I recommend the normal collar, not the flyaway. That way if you use a pre-tied bowtie the buckle is hidden under the collar.

Size: 38R / 32. On the positive side, the tuxedo has quite a classy and contemporary look. The material seems to be of good quality and it hangs well when wearing. Unfortunately there is an issue.

One of the main reasons I chose this particular suit was because it was described as a "modern fit". As my thighs are a little thicker than some, the "modern fit" seemed attractive as the garment should be a little more roomy. Unfortunately, while the website product description and the Amazon sticker on the outer plastic wrap of the tuxedo state "Modern Fit", the Calvin Klein label dangling from the lapel CLEARLY states "Slim Fit". As it turned out, there was just enough material to clear the legs and not bind when sitting or standing up, so I have kept it. As a result, I rate the fit of the pants as adequate, but certainly not ideal. And that's a shame as the jackets fits very well indeed. In the end, I am both happy and disappointed with this purchase.

I think Amazon should really address this issue. Either they should get some actual "modern fit" suits in stock, or they change the product description to match the garment they are actually sending out.

If you are a person who is on the slim side from top to bottom, I think this is a very good choice and I would give it a "5 star" rating. For the rest of us, it is a bit of "buyer beware"

Really good quality hundred percent wool jacket and pants I ordered a 44 short size jacket
And received a 38 pant sizeThe pants were very long they need to be trimmed the jacket fits nicely however the sleeves can be on the wider side really smart looking

Love it ! Great fit, just had to hem the trousers. Wore it at my daughter's wedding. Good quality and style.

We paid $180 for custom tailoring but it is still much cheaper than in a store and looks just perfect!

The single defining feature of a tuxedo is its satin collar. This is just a black suit

Shoulders are very large, expect tailoring charges
