This jacket just arrived and I tried it on. First of all, the Amazon picture doesn't do this jacket justice. In reality the jacket is a true camel hair color (tan.) The online picture makes it look kind of yellow/gold and its not. They could do a better job with the picture because the coat really is very nice.
The detail on this jacket is exacting. A jacket like this at a top retailer would easily go $750. I ordered a 42r. I'm a 41r and it fits perfectly. Not sure if the description mentions it but the coat is made in Italy. The lining is a dead giveaway of that...very expensive looking. I'm Italian and am fortunate to own a few articles of clothing made in Italy and this jacket is on par with that level of quality. I've never owned a camel hair coat before but the fabric seems like it is top quality and sturdy but only time and care will tell how well it wears. Now, if only the weather would cool down so I can wear it...!

To flog a live horse, repeat universal praise, and cast a California primary vote that counts for squat come electoral votes that tip a balance come the convention, this is a beautiful and well tailored coat offered at a great price.

The camel hair is smooth, soft to the touch, and of a satisfying weight. The color a rich camel and herringbone pattern that I've looked for sometime but never seen this low before

The coat pairs well with denim, linen, and wool. It works as well at dress up as dress down.

I think that after my navy blazer this coat will be my second go to choice.

There were a lot of questions in buying a jacket that I couldn't find a review of, and I'd never seen before; but I decided I could always order, then return if I needed to, if something were amiss.
Truly, I think this is a lovely coat, very nicely and thoughtfully made; and I own a closet full of expensive Italian sport coats. I was initially looking for a blue blazer; but I'm picky, and don't like to go on the cheap; and blue blazers aren't necessarily the highest quality, just by their nature and design, for the most part. This jacket has some very nice touches; it isn't exactly a Blue Blazer, and I wouldn't put brass buttons on it; but it does offer elegance, and can still be worn with jeans; so it goes some distance both ways. I would say it's as described; and the pictures are accurate. It's a nice, impressive jacket; if what you see is what you're looking for, you shouldn't be disappointed.

I searched all my usual sources for a new navy camelhair blazer. I finally found this one on Amazon (amazing). I have always owned (>50 years) a thick navy woolen blazer. This one exceeds the quality of ALL of the previous ones. I am impressed with the construction and especially the fabric. My last one was purchased from a large, well-know US retailer. I paid ~$500 for it. This one is superior in all respects. Order it, you will not be sorry. It is worth every penny and more. Fits right and highest quality

I really like the blazer, this is the first time I've ordered something like this online. My concern is, in the end I don't know if I really saved money. I spent any money I thought I would save on tailoring getting the correct fit.

Glad I jumped on this while it was a lightning deal! I had it in my wish list for a while, but hesitated because I thought I needed to see it first.
Great quality, fit as it should & great lining. As others have pointed out - the picture does not do the coat justice. It is a real camel hair color with no green tinge as the picture suggests. Im having the sleeves shortened because I have shorter than average arms and noticed the wrist buttons are held back specifically to have the sleeves shortened - nice touch ! I'd say this would cost $350 to $450 at a retail store.

It was love at first sight. The texture and colour are just spot on. It simply looks great when I put it on. It's a pity that it did not have a 35(short) size. That would have been the perfect look on me. Nevertheless it warrants five stars. Considering most blazers are now outsourced and manufactured in countries like China and India, the fact that this is made in Italy is a big bonus. Definitely a worthwhile buy.

Too large, too long, the color is a little darker in the lapel fold. The cut in the back makes it stick out like you have larger than normal hindquarters. The fabric is very nice, but the tailoring was a disappointment. I cut the tags and opened the pockets not realizing this so cannot return it, so I will just live with it--I did take it to the tailor who helped a little with a defect in the lining in the back flap.
