liked everything about these board shorts except the fit which was just a little too large. I'm 5'-9" 226 and comfortably wear 40s for most pants. if they offered a 39 they would be perfect, but 38s would likely be too tight. when I pulled the waist closure ties tight enough to keep them from slipping off, it made a bunched up gather at the waist that looked dumb. (I'd somewhat agree with some of the other comments about length as they didn't look like 21s. but probably OK if you aren't 6'+)
it's a shame as the fabric was great, not too light of flimsy, the color/pattern was really nice and they felt comfortable otherwise. maybe if I keep losing weight I'll reorder them in 38s! give them a try, especially if you have prime.

The shorts looked great and came fast. But are not 21 inch outseam. Upon measuring, they are closer to 19 1/2. Which I should have known by the picture. If you're a short fit guy, these are for you. If you're 6'4" and like them at your knee or below these won't do. I'll be sending them back, but only because of the length, that is way shorter than advertised.

The shorts fit well but the quality of the material is lousy. After only a few weeks my shorts have started to "pill" in the back, the way a sweater would. They are definitely not as good quality as my old Quicksilver shorts.
