Fit is not great. Little small in the waist and seem to ride a little Lower than I like. Would benefit from a little elastic to help keep things up.

Returned as they did not fit right. These for smaller than my other Nike swim trunks. Had they fit, I would have been happy with them

I truly love the style and fit of the trunks.

Bought these for swim, indoor bike, run days during the winter months. They work great from pool to bike to treadmill. They have a longer inseam than a lot of tri shorts which I prefer.

Lightweight and very comfortable. I do lap swimming and this suit is perfect. The hidden pocket in the leg is very cool and the mesh liner is very comfortable.

These Nike Swim Shorts were pretty good until I realized there wasn't a pair of side pockets and that they had this one mini pouch.

As a person who goes to water parks and pool parties throughout the summer this was really disappointing.

I've had swimming shorts from brands such as Nike, Tommy Hillfiger and some other brands, However those shorts had a good amount of pockets.

I'm a fan of the velcro pockets and even regular pockets because it gives you the flexibility to carry stuff around.

So just because of that, it's a deal breaker!!

I can see how this may be fine at a gym or something like that because you don't need that flexibility but in most cases it's useful to have a decent amount of pockets.

The matireal at hand was good

Size a tad bit tight but good

However the no pockets = Not Good !

    Anyway that's my rant !

    Material/Fabric Quality (Objective) Score: 8
Quality of the fabric seems sturdy and wearable. Not spectacular, but a bit above average…
    Material/Fabric Feel (Subjective): 8
    Soft and rather comfortable
    Stitching/Construction Quality (Objective): 6.5
The seams look/feel pretty loose, for a name brand.
Size Match (Only heavily weighted if extreme): 9
As I expected, for the advertised size
    Color (Subjective): 9.5
Basic black. You can’t go wrong with basic black.
    Aesthetics (Subjective): 8
They’re comfortably designed, and a good length/style. I like the way they look, personally.
Value (Compared to similar items): 5
You are paying for the Nike name (brand). I’ve worn plenty of less expensive clothing that fit just as well, if not better. Furthermore, if one is going to pay this much for a pair of shorts (I can get jeans for less), they should be FAR better constructed than these. The quality of construction was far less than I would have anticipated from a leading national brand.

People that shop by brand are going to like these, just because they’re Nike. I’m more of a functionality/value person, and I don’t care what insignia is embroidered on the clothes (I actually prefer NO insignia). I suspect that these exact same shorts are manufactured without the Nike logo, and sold for a fraction of the cost, by other retail outlets. There is absolutely no reason for a budget-minded individual to pay outrageous prices unless they are fully aware of the cost factor, and are willing to treat their income as disposable, in this respect.

I'm not sure who this bathing suit is for. Despite the "racer" claim, they are not great for swimming, much less competitive swimming. They're long and tight, not great for muscle movements, and they catch both air and water, not good for fast or comfortable swimming. They're also not short, they come to the top of the knees.

They are tailored rather than baggy, so if you want to look trim walking around, they're fine (assuming you actually are trim). But the lack of pockets, and a waist band that wouldn't support the weight if you had pockets and put something in them, make them less than practical for that.

They do indeed dry fast, as claimed. So these might suit someone who like to walk around a pool at home, and has no need to carry anything, who doesn't swim and tries to avoid getting wet, but wants his shorts to dry fast if he does.
