It’s a $44 shirt that means it’s going to feel like sandpaper plain and simple they are thin. The sizing is really weird it was too small I ordered an extra large and it was more like a medium could barely fit my arms in it. End it was about 3 inches too short in the tail and I’m only 511. If you guys want to sell more of these things give a little bit more room in the sleeves and make the shirt tails longer. I have no idea how long it would hold up because five minutes after I came out of the package I determined it was going right back so I didn’t wear it and I didn’t wash it but something tells me it would be shot in about six months. I did order one of the short sleeves and I will keep it to see how it works it’s seem to fit OK but the short sleeves were extremely short. I will only be able to wear these as an undershirt. And I hope they don’t get dried or who knows what they would fit then. I would try a woolx shirt. I also ordered one of those and it is how his shirt should fit they were $70 for the comparable enDurrance woolx shirt but at least it’s usable.

Having practically lived in my MerinoTech short sleeve T this summer, I was excited to hear they were launching a long sleeve version. Although they only have the men's sizes right now, I am used to "borrowing" my brothers/hubby/sons/nephews/etc shirts, so I immediately ordered 2 in my (or rather their) usual size. It gets coolish where I live and I frequently travel to colder areas, so I was in the market for a long sleeve shirt. I have worn one of the shirts for two days now, and am loathe to take it off! It is a comfortable, smooth, and as practical as my short sleeve shirt, and I couldn't be more pleased. It is light weight enough to layer under/over other clothes, sturdy enough to wear on its own. If you haven't discovered merino wool t shirts yet, I suggest you run ... don't walk ... to the MerinoTech page on Amazon and check out their shirts. I don't think you will be disappointed in the selections or the quality.

I got the short sleeve t-shirt and like the quality of that shirt, so when I received a notice that there was now a long sleeve version of it, and at a very reasonable price, I ordered four in different colors. Unfortunately, they started coming in at different times so I was unable to compare them to each other. I am 6’1”, 190 lbs., and ordered the extra large size. The first one was a navy blue and it fit well, but almost a little too small, especially since it will shrink after washing. The second one was a heather black, and it was looser, and for me perfect!

Though they were a little different in size, they are of good quality. I did not notice and real itching more than any other merino wool item I have. Collars are a picky item for me in t-shirts, and these are well made and are fairly tight around my neck and don’t already appear stretched out like some lightweight t-shirts. I am a big merino wool fan and use them for my hiking/trekking and around the city use. I have many, tons, of Smartwool and Icebreaker clothing, and these appear fjust as well made as those, but much cheaper! I actually liked them so much I ordered two more for a present for my brother. For the price and quality you can’t beat it. I will contact the seller and ask about the first one that was smaller, and I think they are a good company and will respond to my question.

these Merino wool shirts are the real deal. reasonabley priced and the colors are beautiful!. i use this shirt as a t- shirt or a base layer to my other winter layers. the real test is after a few washes. these have held up so far and will grab a few more. they cost much less than my first lite and others. worth it! they do run a bit small so size up. ive found this with other companies wool shirts also so it may just be the norm.

Ordered olive and this definitely not olive; more like teal green. Not crazy about the color. Appears to be well constructed. Semi-form-fitted. Size-wise, I am 5’8”, 155 lbs and would normally wear a medium in a pullover jersey. However, based on other reviews, I chanced it and ordered one size up to Large and glad I did, as it is just a tad loose, but expect it will shrink a bit after the first wash. I ordered this as a test to see how it will work out as a base layer for walking the Camino de Santiago in early spring, expecting cool and damp weather. Fabric is amazingly light, but seemed to work well as a base layer on a test hike in 45F.

The shirt is good quality - comparable to smart wool shirts I've bought for myself. This one I bought for my husband to try and he loves it. We did size up one size.

When we bought, it was supposed to come with free socks. No socks came with it, instead it was a paper insert with instructions to go to their website and submit order information and they would send the socks. THE SOCKS NEVER CAME. Pretty disappointed about that.

I bought this for myself with the idea of wearing it on the Grand Canyon field trip this coming summer. I am testing it out at home and I am pleased with the size and the comfort. All my other Merino products are thicker and dark colors for the winter here in the mountains. I need breathable, sun protection and the fact can wear it for days at a time. I am pleased to have discovered this company on Amazon.

Very good and comfortable merino shirt. Great as base layer or worn alone. Great for hiking on cool or colder days. I’m straddling the edge of large and got an XL.

I bought 4 of these shirts in XL and followed the general instructions of washing in cold water and laying flat to dry. They will shrink. Get the next size up.
