Purchased a Large. I'm 5.10 190lbs, 33 waist about 40 chest. Fit perfectly, not tight, not too loose, I can wear a 3mil wetsuit under comfortably. Has draw strings on hood and waist that work perfectly. Hood size is perfect to keep shelter from wind/rain on boat ride without being so huge that it droops down over forehead and eyes. Don't need hood draw strings to get that great fit. Zippers are heavy duty and have neoprene back lined panel to keep from pinching. There are many more pockets than I realized, see pictures attached. Inside left has large zipper pocket good for large phone. Right side has small open pockets. Has kind of strange front access zipper to those right open pockets (not sure how needed that is). Has 2 large non-zippered hand pockets. The arm cuffs and waist band are stretchy thick spandex feeling material yet still feels heavy duty. The main body is rubbery feeling but still flexible. The inside is comfortable feeling for bare skin. Because it does not absorb water it will dry quickly. I LOVE this coat and that is why I felt inclined to take the time to help others discover it. My main purpose for use is to have on boat rides to and from scuba dives. I try not to use wet suits while scuba diving and like to have a warm coat for the windy wet boat rides while being in the elements. Avoid chlorine because it will fade and wear the coat much faster. Rinse with fresh water after salt water contact. Occasionally use a wet suit type soap and hand wash and line dry (after a session of use before storing until next trip). Sun's UV will fade it faster than if dried in open air shade. Perfect for Dive instructor or boatman frequently in the rain/wind. Hope the review helps you. "Happy Tec Diver"

This review is for sizing: I haven't used this jacket on yet, only tried it on over my wetsuit & kite harness. I"m female, 5'6", 120 lbs. The size small fits over my 5/4 wetsuit & XS harness. Basically, the men's jacket cut and sizing will be OK for my me and my purposes. The shoulders have plenty of room (and I have broad shoulders). The sleeves are just right (for my longish arms). I wouldn't want to hips any tighter. I think if I were to size up to a medium it would be good if I wanted oversized. Hope this helps others.
I think the rubber coating will provide good protection out in the wind.

I am an avid jetskier and my buddies and I needed something to keep us warm in late October to December (in NY) to keep us warm. I looked at several "tour" jackets and while I liked the design on most, this really seemed the warmest and I was right, my friends and I love them. They run pretty true to size we wear them under our life vests, but some people like to wear them over. Recently went to central Florida and a couple of the professional guys were wearing them there as well as the temp was in the 50' s to low 60's while I was visiting. Good movement, not restrictive at all. price here was good too and well you can't beat prime delivery :-)

The harness and picture on this is a little misleading - this is a jacket with a zipper that goes through the jacket, there is no harness attached. The print on this is slightly different than the non-harnessed version, but they are nice looking jackets and have been the best purchase to date with our boat. They block wind and spray, and they aren't uncomfortable to wear. They really don't get wet from just being out, so they're versatile. We just hose them down when we get out of the saltwater and usually sit on them to ride home to keep the seats dry too. The sizes run pretty true, but they're a 2mm neoprene, so if you're putting them over a lot of clothes, you can order a size larger for a little extra comfort. They've got a few pockets inside for phones or keys and things.

I just purchased this jacket and expected that an XXL would fit my 189 cm/ 6ft 2" 115KG frame. It does fit, but only just. It is quite tight. I would have to remove the 5mm wetsuit that I usually wear in winter. The ad says that this is an oversize jacket. Well it might be for Chinese people, because the jacket is Made in China, but not for big Europeans or N. Americans. However the material is flexible and feels slightly 'sticky'. I think it should repel the wind and rain. The inside lining is a thin red plush nylon and I think this should be a little thicker. It has two outside pockets that are big enough. On the inside there is one slanted zipper pocket on the left side of the jacket that would fit a iphone or smaller smart phone. On the right hand inside are two smaller open vertical pockets that might be good to clip a pen into or hold gum or a candy bar. But they are a little small for my hand to fit inside. However if you are normal sized ( I wear a XXL T shirts.) this jacket will be a good buy. Just go for one size over what you would normally purchase.

I saw our divemaster at Little Cayman Dive Resort using this jacket between dives while we were shivering and cold in our wetsuits with light nylon jackets over them. I ordered this jacket on the spot and had it at my house in a day. I have used this jacket for 2 years now on all of our Caribbean scuba dive locations and love it. I do not need to take off my wetsuit between dives on a multiple dive trip and I am toasty warm. I even gave my jacket to my divemaster at Scuba Club in Cozumel and I purchased another new jacket for myself. I highly recommend this jacket

This is da bomb for any activity wher you are exposed to cold water - especially sailing, but even a just rain..Absolutely no compromise in comfort when you get it wet.

Great jacket for cold water/weather conditions. I wear this before/after wake boarding or wake surfing in the Spring and Fall months. It really keeps your body heat in and the wind/water out! I also like the rubber sleeves, which keeps your shirt dry. The inside material is very soft. The zipper is heavy-duty and it's very well made. I get so many compliments on this jacket!

Have not paddled in it yet - which I intend to do even though it is a "playa" jacket. This fits me well - not too loose and not too tight that paddling in it should be a problem - will update after a couple of outings with it. I am 6'3" and 195 lbs. Hood fits comfortably, sleeves are right length, 3 handy/convenient inner pockets. Agree with other reviewers Velcro on wrists would make this jacket 5 stars.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned yet that the sizing on these is waaaay off!

Just get a size larger than you think - you should be getting and you'll be fine.

This jacket is extremely warm and comfortable. I wear as a warmup jacket between dives, it’s awesome.
