I wear them all the time. They are nice enough looking to throw on a polo and look nice, but comfortable & durable enough to go hiking all day. They even function well for the impromptu jump in a river, and dry FAST. The pockets are deep, and there is a velcro wallet pocket, along with a zipper pocket on the leg. I have 2 pairs I rotate through anytime I wear shorts.

Great shorts. Runs slightly small. First ordered large and had to return for x-large. My husband is 6’2” 180lbs with a round belly. Shorts are a quick dry material like a mild soft wind resistant jacket. Not scratchy at all!! My husband loves them.
