My husband lives in these short sleeve style shirts, he has several Columbia shirts. They are his favorite because of the quality, how the material breathes, they are vented and lightweight. All of my husbands shirts are larges, this was available for review as a medium. The funny thing is all my husband's Columbia shirt's tags have fallen out (they are glued not sewn in) so I can not verify the size, but we are sure his other Columbia shirts are larges. This fits like a large. Its also longer, its not a slim fit which is a good thing for my husbands beer belly! This shirt is slightly more dressier than my husband's other Columbia shirts. We own a boat so this shirt is great for socializing in the sun and at the yacht club. If care is taken after machine washing you can shake this shirt and hang it immediately to avoid ironing. I touch it up with a light warm iron because I prefer the dressier look, but really this does not need to be ironed if hung immediately out of the washing machine. This shirt is not solid gray, there is a subtle light blue tiny circular print to it. Its only noticeable up close. My husband received many compliments when he wears it.

I typically wear a men's medium for shirts and this fit is pretty spot on. It's a pretty casual fit, slightly loose but doesn't look like you're wearing a tent. For dress shirts I typically wear a 15 1/2" collar and the collar of this shirt fits slightly loose (in a good, comfortable way, and I wouldn't be buttoning the top button anyway).

The fabric is light and airy, and the back of the shirt has a large mesh section (covered by solid fabric) that makes the shirt even more breathable. This isn't shown at all in the photos - you can just see the vent on the side a little bit but you can't tell in the photos that the back top half of the shirt is all mesh under there. Between all that and the cooling fabric, this is one cool shirt! I don't think the fabric "feels" cold unless it gets wet, but it does work. I wonder how long that feature of the fabric will hold up over time.

Columbia has done a great job with this shirt. It is well made, great quality, nice and cool feeling, and will be awesome for hot summer days.

The Columbia PFG (Professional fishing gear) Zero Rules woven short sleeve shirt is made in Indonesia from 100% polyester. The shirt has a collar, front pocket, and vented back. The fabric has a light blue 'rings' pattern that "react with your sweat to lower the temperature of the fabric so you feel cooler, while it wicks away moisture." This is my fifth PFG shirt, and I love them all. I like this one the best, as it's button-down, has a collar, and can be worn to restaurants and not just in the woods.

The shirt length is a bit long on me (but it won't come untucked easily, if you tuck it in), and the sleeve length is also a bit on the long side; however, while this may not look as good as shorter sleeves, it does offer more sun protection.

Great travel shirt! Love it!

This shirt is definitely overladen with logos for the manufacturer. I feel like I am wearing a uniform shirt advertising Columbia. Logos on the front, sides and back.

Too much – and will probably relegate this shirt to last to be worn status.

As to the shirt itself, it’s okay, I guess. Nothing spectacular.

It hasn’t been hot enough to cause me to sweat, so I don’t know how well the OMNI-FREEZE technology works.

Fit is on the large size which doesn’t bother me in a casual shirt.

Overall, I don’t see any great advantages in this shirt – and the over-abundance of logos is definitely a negative in my eyes.

If your not a fan of logos, the Columbia rubber stamp on your back may rub you wrong.
But if you can get past it , this is a great shirt for brutal heat & a quick cool.

It's already 90 & humid in FL.
He's been doing outside projects waiting for quarantine to pass.
This shirt dries quickly from sweat, stopped sunburn & was easy to work in.
The back vent literally was a breeze especially with the sun beating down on you.

As great as this shirt is, my non logo loving guy will bury it until there are no more options.
Columbia, we don't care if people know we are wearing your shirt,
So please hear our cries & give an option not to be stamped like a parcel package.

I love Columbia clothing. I have for years and I probably always will. The quality of their clothing is great and they just look so nice. This short sleeve Columbia fishing top is no exception. The feel is just amazing. It is so light weight and perfect for times when you will got hot or sweaty. The good thing about these shirts is that the material they are made out of, the dry very fast. They also help to keep you cool and dry as well. The fit of these shirts is true to size. I have already said just how amazing the quality of their clothes are. You can not go wrong with Columbia.

I got this in light gray, and it's fantastic. The shirt is feels like it has some weight but it breathes easily. I'm about 5' 8" and 190 lbs and the medium fit me perfectly. The gray looks good and my SO complimented me on how it looked on me.

There is some mesh in the back also helps this shirt breathe, making it comfortable to wear even on a summery day. The shirt also has UV protection, something I need since I have fair skin and burn easily.

This is an excellent and comfortable shirt you can wear out for any casual occasion.

PROS:
- It's made of 100% polyester so it will not absorb sweat so hopefully there is a breeze around to help it evaporate. Either way, it will have to be washed after every wearing because it will start to smell of body-odor.
- Mine is a neutral gray color with subdued little circles all over.

CONS:
- The sizing is way off. I ordered the medium and it fits like an extra large.
- There is an upside-down triangle shape patch on the back stating- "Performance Fishing Gear", which looks bad.
