My husband doesn't praise clothing or get excited about them, but when we discovered Darn Tough socks, he began saying that he wanted to replace all his socks with them.

He has some issues with sweating and the breath of these socks are great. He feels comfortable throughout the day and he's shoes and feet smell less. He enjoys the feel and has made no complaint.

Slowly I am acquiring new Darn Tough socks for him, pair by pair. I have also purchases two pairs for myself

I've never seen a sock sewn like this, theres a seam coming back on both sides of your heel you can see in the pics.. Idk but first putting them on it was super noticeable when I put my shoes on it seemed to disappear for the most part but will most likely cause a problem. Update after I get off work tomorrow. I'm super disappointed I love darn tough socks this one might just not be for me. But just reading a few reviews I saw nothing of this so thought I'd point it out . Otherwise they seem to be great socks as always. Super thin just like I wanted but feels pretty solid.

    Update.
Ya got some mean blisters by end of day. Gonna be exchanging first for a smaller size hopefully but idk.

As far as sizing I forgot to mention before. I'm a size 12 mens in most shoes, most nike and adidas for example .
For the darn tough extra cushion the xl fits perfect love it. The other I love the #1466- micro crew cushion the large is pretty tight on top of foot lil short the xl is still a little tight on top of foot but barely.

These seem to be really stretchy, really slick inside, another con imo . Anyway

Great socks - every pair that I have purchased from this company fits great, feels good and keeps sweat and odors to a minimum - FAR better than regular cotton socks. The thickness also helps protect against cuts, scratches, plants, blisters and other minor injuries. I have a few pairs used 2-4 times monthly for biking and hiking for a couple years now and the wear barely shows. And with the lifetime guarantee - how can you go wrong.

I only buy Darn Tough socks nowadays. Their guarantee is unbeatable and they are super comfortable. However, I like these much less than their other crew wool offerings. These have a sort of strange heel construction that is almost square for lack of a better description. I am a size 11.5 and I tend to order XL in their crew offerings. However, I would order L for these ones in the future, they seem to be more true to size.

Quality built. I love the Darn tough brand. These are very thin. A little too thin for my liking. I prefer this sock version in the cushion style.

These socks fit as expected and are very comfortable. I don't like socks that are too thick but i do like to have some support and these are great for both. They are not too thick and they have made it through a lot of washing already. As soon as they're out of the wash I'm using them and they're back in again.

I wear a 10.5 mens shoe and so I assumed that the large range (10-12) would fit me. I was wrong. The large socks were way too big so I ended up sizing down to a medium (8-9.5) and they work great. Per Darn Tough, these are made from 53% Nylon, 41% Merino Wool, 6% Lycra® Spandex, so do not expect them to shrink.

The socks feel great to run in (I've only run in them once).

I’ve bought these socks and thought the price of $16 a pair was crazy. But because I love these low fitting socks these days. I went and bought 2 pair. These socks are not that darn tough. After wearing them a few times. They started to tear at the mid foot. For $16 a pair. One would think these would supposed to last for a few years. Not in this case

Love Darn tough socks. I had ~5 pairs (2 crew length, 3 no show) before buying 2 more on this purchase (first time buying them on Amazon).

Yes, they are expensive for socks but they are the most comfortable socks I own and have an unconditional Lifetime Warranty. I am just in the process of going through the warranty steps (with a pair that I have owned for ~5 years) but it is basically send them your old socks with a filled out form and they will send you new ones. If my warranty experience goes well, I hope to one day only own Darn Tough socks.

Update: Warranty experience went more or less as expected. Sent them in with the form and (longer than I would have liked, several weeks) I got back a brand new pair of socks.

I have yet to wear out a pair of these socks. I usually wear out regular department store/costco socks after 2 or 3 wears.
