I usually wear 33 waist just fine but found these a little too loose and long for my taste. The shorts feel quite strange, almost stiff and "crunchy" feeling. That said, they look good and are comfortable. I may buy them again but only if they are on sale.

These are a more modern cut of shorts. Not baggy around the thighs or even the opening in the legs they fit pretty well. Great shorts if you're active like biking/hiking. They are also a little shorter than typical shorts sold at somewhere like Old Navy or Gap, I like that better though as they feel more tailored.

I am 5'7" and long shorts emphasize my lack of height. Unfortunately, long shorts seem to be the trend again...These were no exception so had to go back. I ended up buying shorts from Banana Republic instead that had a more realistic length.

Love the shorts but I ordered my standard size of 36w, and I was swimming in them. They weren't just a little loose; they would fall down to my ankles if I let go of them. I had to check I got the right size, sure enough they said 36.
That said, I wear a belt with every pair of pants/shorts, so the extra size isn't a problem for me. I also recommend washing them first before use as they're a bit stiff coming out of the box.

The color looks good and the hip size is okay, I got a size 32 and it's a little tight around the thighs, maybe I should have ordered a size up.
I'm 5'8" and around 175 lbs, with a muscular build. If you don't like tighter shorts then order a size up.

Well made, material feels sturdy, perfect length (inseam, 10 inches). The leg bottom circumference is 21". Perhaps a cell phone pocket would be welcome, but as is, the fit is perfect. I am planning to order 2 more in other colors.

colour was a little bit lighter than i expected.. otherwise, they are no different than what you can purchase in a local store

Very baggy, ordered a 32 and no way is that a regular 32, more like 34. hard to believe theyre labeled "slim fit'
