So as others have mentioned, these are no loose shorts, which I consider to be a good thing(I wear size medium with about 31 inch waist). I wear these around the house comfortably, wear them when I'm on the treadmill, and wear them to the rock climbing gym and in all three cases, I love them. Since they aren't loose, it keeps my cellphone a bit tighter against my body so I can use its step counter while I'm on the treadmill, without swinging all over the place. At the rock climbing gym, I find myself hanging from certain places with my legs way up in the air, which with other shorts can lead to the leg falling all the way towards my crouch which can be annoying, but these stay in place without feeling restrictive. I also like them around the house for just lounging since they are nice, lightweight, and cool, yet have a "sturdy" high quality feel. I'll be getting more in other colors.

These are nice well made shorts if you are the perfect shape for them. They are unforgiving when it comes to the shape. Most of my older basketball style shorts are a bit more adaptable to my shape. If you're super thin, these are for you. If you've got jacked thighs, look somewhere else.

My wife ordered me two pairs of these shorts and they are so thin you can see through them. I have owned a few pairs of UA clothing and have never seen anything like this before. Just got them today and we might send them back.

These are not way oversized, they fit closer and hit just above the knee on my 5'8" body, the material is a little stiffer than some shorts which makes me think they will hold up well in the wash and last longer. The pockets along the side seams have nice finished edges and are big enough to be usable. Definitely a step up in quality and construction from the cheapest shorts.

I love Under Armour clothing however a proper fit is difficult to find as clothing sizes vary so much between the same article of clothing. I find these shorts to not only looking good but have a good fit as well. I'm 5' 10' and 165 lbs. 33" waist and I purchased a large.

I have purchased these shorts in the past and really liked them. I tried to buy two more pairs using the same design number as was on the tag of my previous shorts. The new shorts I received had a much larger mesh size than the shorts that I have and the material seemed thinner. Both pairs of shorts (one white pair and one navy) were basically see through, such that I could see my boxers while wearing them because of how large the holes in the mesh are. I am returning both pairs.

Shorts are extremely comfortable and very well made as you would expect for UA. I agree with most of the reviewers here on sizing that it is best to size up as waistband is a little snug. Have also found sizing to be a bit inconsistent across colors. For example the stealth grey medium is much roomier/baggier in the crotch and leg than the white or royal blue in same size. To be fair though that is something I've found with other brands, not just UA. Definitely recommend these for running, gym, or just lounging. Love all the color selections too!

Under Armour products have been consistently of great quality. Do think they are priced a bit higher than other brands but their quality and technology seems to support that. Have not been disappointed including with these trunks. Use with compression shorts for workouts on an elliptical machine and treadmill and they have been great.

I love these shorts, they are my go to run wear. I have done numerous races in them including Rat Race Dirty Weekend and Tough Mudder and they have always held up well. I has some other Under Armour shorts that got shredded with barbed wire. These are much better for this sort of thing. I did find that when they are very muddy they get a little stuff in the material, but I think that is due to the tiny holes being filled. One thing to remember with these shorts is that white underwear does show through (very slightly).

I've bought a few Under Armous t-shirts, but these are the first shorts I've bought from them.

    I'm pleased.

I bought a medium and the main band around the shorts at the top is perhaps a little tigher than what I'm used to, but you can tell it will last many years. Shorts are quite long and almost reach my knees so be aware of that too.

Absolutely no complaints. The shorts are light, comfortable to wear and I am confident they will last for years.

    Would buy again.

Been wearing for Squash,Tennis and Running for best part of a year now, still looks great and seems like it will last for longer yet.
Also, having purchased the "Blaze Orange" top it always gets people attention, even if my sporting ability does not.

Very pleased with these shorts, typical Under Armour quality A1..
    Materials and manufacture are good..
Fit was very good and comfortable to wear..
Bought these in a sale and honestly absolute bargain..
    Definitely recommend..

Good product for the gym, good stretch fabric and plenty space around the waist, i'm a 38 waist.

Does what they are meant to, perhaps a little heavy in weight but not a problem for training runs with a good knee length and helpful 2 pockets and perforations to regulate temperature. I just wouldn't compete in them.

Christmas present for my partner .. He loved them
