I bought 6 pairs of the lowest cut white socks in July 2017 and again in July 2019. These socks are better constructed and have consistently held up better than nearly any other athletic socks I’ve owned, including those from major athletic brands everyone would know. These are on the thicker side of running socks, but seemingly the perfect blend of elasticity in the right places and soft cotton cushioning ... no slipping, no blisters. I wouldn’t buy them if you have very tight fitting shoes - I use them in true-to-size or larger fit running shoes. The cushioned heel tab is a very nice touch and keeps the heel above the shoe line. There has been no change in elasticity of these socks over two years of constant wear and the 2017 and 2019 socks are hard to tell apart functionally. The cotton remains soft and absorbent - it’s not Supima cotton, but it’s not low-grade cotton either. The cotton has not worn thin, nor has the fabric pilled or frayed. The only downside I’ve experienced is that the color accents on the 2017 socks faded from dark gray to a light pink to almost white within a few washes in hot water, maybe six, tops. The dye was terrible, not sure what the point was of even having color accents. We will see if the 2019 socks fade the same way. It really didn’t (and doesn’t) matter one iota to me, you can’t see the color accents when wearing shoes anyway. So it’s not really even a demerit in my book.

Add to the plus column the price. I think these come out to a little over a dollar per pair. I have paid 12 dollars for one pair of running socks that, granted, were probably slightly better but by a very slim margin.

The ordering and shipping situation deserves mention. These socks will only ship by USPS ground and takes over a week to receive. In a world where seemingly everything arrives in a day or two, there really should be an option to send these faster if they are needed. Also, I had a weird experience when I ordered ... a week went by without the order shipping, then the order was abruptly canceled with a note Amazon out of stock. I immediately reordered and they shipped the next day. Odd.

The bottom line here is that the positives far outweigh the negatives. Will only order these athletic socks from now on - a great value.

Surprised that the quality is so good, it's close to the higher priced socks in fit and finish.
Not quite as good as the Balega no shows I've bought on Amazon, which are incredibly comfortable and well made- but those are $12.65 a pair!
So, for a buck and a half, these 6 TSLA no shows fit in quite well.
They are true to size BUT they did shrink a teensy bit, if anything the very minute shrinkage made the sides of the socks even a better "no show" than they were when first tried on.
You can order these socks at a bargain basement price without a fear of that bargain basement quality- these would definitely fit into a "solid quality at a bargain price" classification.

I was under the impression they would all be white socks. Half are white, half are this weird discolored ivory/yellow color. They just look dirty.

Bought a pack of white Tesla socks about a year ago and loved them from the second I put them on. Great fit, look, and breathability. Have been incredibly durable too!! (I tend to be pretty hard on my socks...). Decided to buy a pack of the gray and black socks just to match different outfits. These socks, while seemingly of similar quality, run much smaller. I don't know if it's because I have 4E feet but I can barely pull these on. I wear size 10.5 and these say they go up to 12 but I can't imagine putting these on if my feet were any bigger. Otherwise, they look great and are mostly comfortable... just a little tight

I have around 40ish pairs from 2017/18 and they are a bit more padded which I liked. I bought 24 more pair because I figured they would be the same. While they are still nice for the price. I am bummed they arent as cushioned. They are also a weirdo color black compared to the other years. I will no if they bleed and fade in a couple months and will update. The others have stayed vibrant black and are still good as new. That is why the 4 star instead of a 5 star and I hope they go back to the old style black and padding

Very comfortable! I was kinda hoping they wouln't be cheap qualityor bad sizing, etc.... Because of the price, BUT THESE ARE GREAT! IT pays to keep looking & reading reviews. You can't always judge by the price, because there are other sock sets that you get less & up to three times the price & I don't think that there IS ANY WAY they can be any better quality than these! They make my shoes mire comfortable!

Definitely NOT no-show so minus 1 star. They take some thought to put on correctly.

After more wear, I notice that these can be too tight around the ankle. -1 star. My foot just went totally numb with 10 minutes of wear in the house! Mind you I am a size Small female with narrow feet, so my ankles are BONY! (I cna nearly wrap my hand around them!) If your ankles are thick DO NOT BUY! I thought the foot numbness I got over the week was from my sneakers but just wearing the socks in the house I see it's the SOCKS! The shoes never gave me issues before this.

However it's the first sock I put on as female that didn't have to stretch significantly to fit my size 9.5 narrow feet. Which means NO HOLES! They were the exact length needed and width. Didn't cut blood circulation to the toes, ONLY TO ANKLE.

They aren't thin and not necessarily thick.

I just really wish they were lower/no-show, with a less bizarre backing and looser ankle!

UPDATE: The medium fit perfectly (women's size 10W), even after washing and drying. Good sock, but their sizing is way off.

ORIGINAL: The all black pack runs very large. Bought this brand a year ago so didn't even look at the reviews and ordered based off the shoe size range (large for a women's 10W).
These are giant. See comparison for a normal size sock that fits a 10w (gray) compared to the new ones (black). When I put the new ones on the come up over my ankle (not no-show).
Also, the material feels a bit thinner, but still soft and good quality.
I'm going to return the large ones and get the medium size.

These were recommended to me as an “ultimate” running sock at a very “in-ultimate” price.
They are more “meh” than “wow”.
Decent enough, cheap enough, but not the all singing and dancing I was expecting from the review.
Maybe I was expecting too much.
