I have several pairs of Swiftwick Zero Vibe socks and often buy them as gifts for friends and family. Things I like about them:
    - The grey color is attractive with running shoes
    - The fit is snug (somewhat compressive) which prevents the wrinkling up of socks and lowers chances to get blisters while running
    - These socks do not hold moisture so I can wear them year-round even in cold temperatures they keep my feet warm while running
    - They do not hold odors so I can wear them multiple times before washing
    - In the couple of years I've owned these socks, I have seen no holes or damage in the socks

The only issue I have with the Zero length socks is that you can get a blister on the back of your foot if your running shoe touches your foot where the sock does not go high enough to cover the skin. If this is a potential issue for you, I suggest the One length socks.

I bought these looking for arch support/compression when I noticed my husband's other summer no seeums were kind of soft and flabby. He likes to walk the whole golf course but has started feeling some foot achiness. He's a size 9.5-10 so I bought the medium for compression. They looked way too small, stretched but felt tight on try on, but he said they were fine when he put them to use, and that his feet actually did hurt less after 18 holes walked. He felt better in these thin compression socks than in his cushioned ones.

Now to see how long they hold up.

If you're on the fence, go for the higher size, especially if compression isn't your biggest concern aside from wicking.

Swiftwick has always been one of my favorite brands for activewear. I typically purchase their knee high compression socks and love those so I thought I would give these ankle length ones a try. They are the same great quality as the others I have tried. They compress the foot and wick sweat away while wearing. This is super helpful because it prevents blisters and other foot injuries. They don't feel too tight and they don't shrink in the wash. I love them!

I loved the version I received last year. Nicely tight, they helped prevent blisters and were very comfortable. This year I added two pairs to my vacation, and they are slightly bigger, or more stretchy, and they did not perform to my satisfaction. The quality is good, and if you find a snug fitting pair, they should keep your blisters away. In my case, these were not worth the price I paid since they did not help my feet.

I am one of those people who balks at paying so much for one pair of socks, even if they are running socks. Let me tell you these are totally worth it. I used to wear basic, cheap 'athletic' socks for running but since trying these will never go back to those. They don't slip or rub at all and my feet feel so must less 'exhausted' if that makes any sense. I wear them running year round and they work great in all temps, from the humid summer weather to the freezing cold MN winters, I love them so much I bought two more pairs!

I have worn this sock on 3 half marathons, on dozens of hikes, and for daily wear almost every week...and it still looks and wears like new. It never rides down into my shoe, never holds moisture, and looks good peeking out the top of my INOV8 and New Balance shoes! Swiftwicks may seem pricey, but they outlast all my other socks. A no-regret purchase.

These are thin and really help my feet not feel sweaty while running. They prevent blisters. They are a little tight on my ankle so that is not the most comfortable. I wear a size 8.5 in running shoes and bought size medium in these socks. Overall they are very comfortable.

I think I like my Balega Ultralight No Show Athletic Running Socks for Men and Women (1-Pair), White/Berry/Aqua, Small better, followed by my Smartwool Women's PhD Run Ultra Light Micro Socks (Berry) Medium. These are a close third. The Balega are thicker whereas these Swiftwick socks have a similar thin light feeling like the Smartwool, however, I think Smartwool has better wicking properties.

Bought these for my bf, he loves them. Breathable. He's had them for a year and they haven't scratch or gotten a hole.
