Nike makes several socks that are similar. I like a particular one because it is the older model and the material is thicker and well made. The picture this seller is using is of the socks that I wanted. When they arrived, it turned out to be the newer version that are much thinner. I returned the socks and a month later had to send an email to find out why my money hadn't been returned. He said he "forgot" and credited it quickly, but I imagine of you ignore giving credits, a few customers will eventually forget and that's just money in his pocket.
I told him that he didn't have the correct picture for the socks he was selling, but I see that it's still the wrong picture today and that was over a month ago when I told him.
When you're selling on-line and the pictures and descriptions are customers only way of evaluating the product, it HAS TO BE RIGHT. Period.

More of a review of Nike product consistency than of the seller. This order was purchased in 2016. The socks that came were not the same material as the ones purchased in 2013 and 2014 of the same Nike Men's Dri-Fit Crew Socks name. The 2013 and 2014 fabrics were sturdier and more cotton like, the 2016 versions were thinner and of a more synthetic feel material ...a feel that I personally do not like. It appears that somewhere along the way Nike changed to something that just seems more cheaply made but called it the same thing. Granted these seem like the black color will not fade like the previous ones, but they are not as comfortable to me.

These socks make all the difference when I'm doing something "performance," which is mostly hiking for me. My feet are noticeably better after a 10 mile hike wearing these socks vs. basic cotton crews. The compression zones along the arch are enormously helpful. Having right and left socks different design also helps make these a perfect fit. Also use these when just doing alot of walking and they're great.

Unlike "comfy" cotton crews, if you're just sitting around the house, when not doing something "performance," the compression makes these a little uncomfortable relative to normal socks. In fact, I usually bring along another pair of Polo brand socks to put on when I get back to the car before starting the drive home after hiking.

Cycling in cold weather is another scenario where I wear these religiously. Highly recommended.

First I thought they were just ordinary white athletic socks. Then I put them on and walked around and was astounded how good the ribbing feels.

First socks I've ever bought that were designated L & R. So finally somebody is making the common sock per some scientific research.

    My feet thank you!!!

I bought this same thing (nike 3-pack) from sports authority at the same time, and let me tell you... these ones on Amazon are garbage. I'm writing this review about 6 months after having these socks, and already 2 out of 3 pairs have fallen apart. I'm talking significant holes all along the sole of the sock. Do yourself a favor and get the real thing

I’ve had a hard time finding crew length socks that fit me - I’m size 13, thick feet, ankles and calves. I have size XL DriFit no show socks, and they fit great. These are still a tiny bit tough to get on, but they are very comfortable and supportive for running or resistance training... I also wear Nike fitness gear exclusively so the swoosh was essential.

So I’m going to clear the air up on this review secretion because a lot of people are bashing the seller and Nike. I can’t speak for length differences but durability, thickness, and strength I can. So these are the correct Nike dri-fit socks if you are looker for the “older thicker” models, as some have stated, you are going to want the Nike Elite Series dri-fit socks. These are true Nike dri-fits and they feel great with slightly more padding on heel and ball of socks. I have Elite Series socks as well, however they are a bit more pricey. I use these as just my work socks and the occasional gym workout sock and they perform great! If you are looking for a more durable sock get the Nike Elite Series, these are more for the sport based workouts, basketball, baseball, football, and other high level training. Elite Series do last forever and are the superior sock. These dri-fits though get the job done at a great price point and will last as long as I need them to. Remember just like tools, always use the right sock for the right job.

Comfortable feet, that's what you get with these socks. Each pair has a marked right and left sock - perfect fit. These socks stay in place on your legs - no slip down - very comfortable. Can be worn for dress, casual, or work. Best socks that I have tried. Highly recommended if you are looking for the next generation sock.
