This is the fourth pair of these that I ordered (all of them the same size), but this pair was significantly smaller, almost as if they were mislabeled or something. Unfortunately I did not try them on since they were the same exact size (and the other ones fit so perfectly) before I washed them. I really love these shorts, but I am really frustrated that the quality control is so poor. If Columbia is going to stand by their products, then they really need to get control over this problem. Shorts should always fit the same if they are the same size.

And an update: I contacted Columbia and they refused to provide any help at all saying that this was not their problem and that I should contact Amazon. I then contacted Amazon, and they got back to me in just a few hours and offered to send me a replacement pair at no charge right away. That is excellent service!

So, one start for Columbia and their quality control. Five Stars for Amazon!

So far so good. But I don't usually give a 5 because it is too soon to determine how well the material and the stitching holds up. Consider it a 5 with the unknown facotr of longevity.

They are comfortable and I love the extra leg pocket. However, the seams in the crotch seem like they may come apart eventually. I can see the stitching starting to strain. I'll buy them again, just have to be careful not to rip out the crotch.

Fit well. Feel great. Very comfortable shorts. Material is a little thin, only time will tell how it wears.

I wear suspenders and the clip at the waist when you bend over will come unsnapped. I don't know if you wear a belt if this will happen.

I like every thing about these EXCEPT for the snap closure others have discussed. You need to wear a belt with them.

I have the pant version of these. The shorts fit great as well and are good quality as you’d expect from Columbia

Hope the snap at the waist hold up but otherwise the shorts fit well. If that works for you they are fine.
