Out of 3 shorts ordered of the same size 36, two were about 2 sizes too small, and one is about 2 sizes too large.
I have checked the labels - all 3 are marked with the same size number 36.
Besides that - Chinese quality in it's worst meaning:
    - Cheap price
    - Thin cotton (this is good for hot FL weather)
    - Inconsistent size - you never know if it will be too big or too small - out of 3 ordered not one had matched marked size.
    - The button opening doesn't have any stitching around it - just rough cut in the material.
    - The material feels unpleasantly rough on the skin - no soft feeling whatsoever.
    - The zipper action is far from being smooth - sticks all the way in several places, feels rough.

I ordered all 3 colors, grey, blue and red and they all fit perfect. I like the long style because I felt they'd be great for the fall & winter seasons. And the colors are very vibrant too. That's the good news. The bad new is I don't think they'll last until the winter. I wouldn't recommend buying these because they'll start falling apart from the first time they're worn. If you do buy them and you notice small round metallic objects on your floor or your car seat, that'll be part of the buttons having fallen off, or the entire button. Believe me, it'll happen. Or if you're out enjoying the nice cool weather and you happen to feel a nice cool breeze down below, that'll be because they've ripped from the belt loop down to the large cargo pocket area. A 12" rip. But I like the style and colors.

These shorts are more than worth the money. They are accurate in size and the detailing is very good. I would order again, absolutely. I would have given the pair of cargo shorts I bought 5 stars but I had to alter one of the leg strings because they are sewn into the leggings and one of them was excessively long and could not be fixed without cutting it and knotting it off so it would not ravel. No big problem. Easy to fix. If you want a pair of casual comfortable shorts that feel good and wear well, buy them.

My husband loved that it had crotch space, the length was not above the knee, and the legs weren't hugging his thighs.

Sadly, all of that doesn't matter if the first time he wore them, it was a hot/humid day and it immediately showed his swamp ass. Meh, that was not that hard to avoid - just don't wear them on the super hot days.

But that wasn't enough to redeem the quality of the pants. The 5th time he wore them the pocket started tearing a hole in the shorts. :(

With all the skinny jeans, nut hugging, girly man jeans, these had so much promise.

Would buy again if quality is heightened.

Not sure of why the one- and two-star reviews; though I have only worn these shorts for a little while, I find them comfortably and stylish. For the most part, I wear size 31-waist pants, so I ordered 32-waist size instead, as 31-waist size are not available for these styles. As expected, they were a little too loose at the waist, but nothing a good belt couldn’t fix. I ordered four of them and I did find one slightly loser at the waist than the other three, but not by much.
I read a bad review about the short’s front zipper and that’s one the first thing I tested when I received them. However, I didn’t find any issues and the zippers go up and down without issues. There was another no so great comment about the ‘not so much useful’ zipper on a small right upper pocket and, also, about that pocket being too small. Although I agree the pocket is not of great use, I believe is just there as part of a distinctive style, not necessarily to be useful. Although it’s large enough to place most car keys and may prevent those keys from falling out as you go through with lives’ activities.
As for the quality of these shorts; the material is not as thick as other cotton material, but it makes these shorts lighter and perhaps cooler during a hot day. Stiches seems to be fine and well placed. I saw a few comments here about them ripping very easily. I haven’t experienced that issue, so I cannot rate that issue, but only time will tell. Other than that, they appeared to be well made.
I’ll give them a four star as, so far, they have met my expectation and because they look cool.

The material is cotton. It is medium-weight fabric, which what you need in hot weather. The fabric is also soft to the touch. The pockets are nice with metal snap closures. The zippered pocket on the right side is mainly for show, because it will only take one or two rolled-up bills, or a few keys. The rear pockets also have metal snap closures. The pants legs are cut below the knees, which I prefer.

    Bought these for friend who had already purchased pair (when I found them on amazon) and loved them! He bought the army green (perfect army green color) & I bought the red, which is a beautiful dark red (not maroon); they both fit the exact same: perfect; he loves the length, fabric and pockets which holds his phone nicely at work; he has since bought a few more since they're keepers and good shorts for good prices are not that easy in our rural area and even online, so if it's a style you like (I spotted these "cause they had more style than other shorts for men, and they didn't disappoint), get 'em while they're here at this price;

I was in the market for some inexpensive long shorts to wear over my cycling shorts. These were my second attempt. The fit is a little big in the waist. I like the length. My biggest complaint is the zipper. It sucks. And the frustrating thing is there is a tiny zippered pocket on the flap of one pocket that is totally useless (see photo). That zipper too is a POS. So why not eliminate that useless “style accessory” and use the money saved to upgrade the zipper that really matters? Like I said YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR.
