Should have been obvious to me, but having previously bought a "regular" medium size of this shirt that was a little short overall for my 6"1", thinnish body I was thinking a "long" would be better overall.

Not exactly. A bit too long, especially in the arms (around 33"-34").

I'd describe this more as a slim large size (which I usually wear) but with slightly longish sleeves. If you're maybe 6'3", 170 or so these would be good. For me there a bit too big.

Quality-wise . . . well, they're inexpensive. They hold up okay to washing but are definitely more casual than dressy (which is why I bought them again). I don't iron them; just hang them to dry.

Generally comfortable for a more slender-to-lean-athletic build. Wouldn't work well for more stocky body types.

I have worn Lands End Oxford shirts for years and this shirt lives up to the quality & value that I expect. It will need light ironing if you want that ‘crisp’ look but, otherwise, I am very pleased with the purchase and the purchasing experience.

Land's End clothing fits right, is comfortable and good quality. I've never been disappointed.
