Nice quality shirt but it cam eiwth a pocket when I specified no pocket. Good cotton, and nice fabric. Good workmanship.

The neck was a bit wider than expected, which is fine I don't mind that soo much. BUT THE ARM LENGTH IS MUCH SHORTER THAN THE NUMBERS LISTED IN THE SIZING GUIDE. The arm lengths are smaller than listed.

Received this shirt today pretty much wadded up in a bag. I opened it up and started looking at it and noticed that name "Pennington" was written on the bottom of the buttons in marker like a dry cleaner would do. (see photo) Clearly this shirt had been worn, taken to the cleaners, and returned to Amazon. It was also missing both collar stays, anther sign that it had been previously owned and cleaned. Really terrible quality control on returns by Amazon.

Appearance and trim as expected. Haven't washed it enough times.

Yes, I got this through the Amazon Vine program. But I have no hesitancy to downgrade a product from Vine if it's not worth purchasing outright (I've given many 1-star ratings over the years as a Vine reviewer - we're under no pressure to do anything other than continue reviewing the things we choose in the program, regardless of rating - as long as it's honest).

Unfortunately, I also like to look at the retail price on Amazon as part of my evaluation, and currently (at the time of this review) the item is not listed for sale. So the following assumes a price that is appropriate for a moderate quality shirt.

Would I buy another one of these at a reasonable price and wear it without concern for how it looks for church, office, etc.? No problem at all. I wish it had come out just a bit smoother, but from any distance at all it will look great! Someone standing within 1-2 feet, IF they were looking closely and cared, would possibly see that it doesn't look extremely smooth like it had just been ironed. But there are no visible real wrinkles in it at all - it's just not really smooth like something that was just ironed. It was removed from the dryer prior to being 100% dry so it could "hang out" a bit, rather than what I call "baking in" the wrinkles caused from the tumbling (and yes, it was removed while the dryer was still running, not after sitting in a crumpled pile for a while at the bottom of the dryer tub).

Color is very white, it otherwise washed up very nicely, and I'll be happy to wear this to church any Sunday or to a meeting requiring a white shirt and tie. As long as they don't charge a premium price for this, I may very well be purchasing more of these as my other white shirts wear out. Fit was perfect, by the way.
