This isn't the quality of a high-end polo shirt, of course, but among less expensive shirts this is the best I've found. I bought at least one of about seven or eight polo shirts that sold for $30 or less, and returned or threw away every one except this one. The others did not fit well, pilled badly after washing, looked cheap, or just did not feel right. This one avoids nearly all those problems. The fabric does get just a little fuzzy after a few washings, but it still looks good and fits well. Because it's 50-50 cotton-poly, it resists wrinkles, too, which I like. It's the best of the less expensive polo shirts, so I bought three or four more.

I really like the fit and feel of the Port Authority polo shirts compared to others that I have tried. The sleeves are slightly longer than other short-sleeved polo shirts, which is a look and feel that I enjoy. As a tall person (6' 1"), I have still found these shirts plenty long to stay tucked in even though they are not advertised as tall-sized shirts. The heavyweight pique is durable, and the colors haven't faded. My favorite feature -- the collars stay flat and don't curl up. These are great shirts.

I love these Polos. They are high quality and the only shirt I know of that is longer to keep a nice tucked in look for larger people. Forget the Horses, Eagles, Sailboats, Alligators, Penguins and Whales. Impress yourself and not your friends! If you actually want a well made shirt that is cut right to size, these are for you. I discovered this brand and model because we use them for embroidered Logo handouts to customers. We are a Fortune Top 50 Brand and giving out crappy quality shirts would not be in our best interest. I bought several colors ( sans the Logo) for personal wear and they wash well. Some of them I have for over 5 years! Even the Black and Navy are faded, but not sloppy washed out looking yet.

My husband, who is 6' & 230 lbs, is very picky. These are the perfect polos for him. The sleeves hit just above his elbow, which is where he likes them. The shoulders are perfect as is the collar. Not too snug & buttons are in a comfortable location-not too high. The length would hit mid hip if he had hips.
