Material breathability, flexibility, and comfort is acceptable at best for $50. It is new, so I am not able to speak to the durability. However, I would not categorize this as a true slim fit. Hopefully Buttoned Down introduces an Extra Slim Fit at some point. Gotta keep up with the times.

I recommend looking elsewhere, such as TJ Maxx, Marshall's, or a retail outlet such as Perry Ellis. You are able to get a better quality fabric, true slim fit, pay half the price, and avoid an extra expenditure at the tailor.

I wear dress shirts, ties, and the typical professional office attire to work daily and Amazon's Buttoned Down lineup of shirts is fantastic and quickly become one of my favorite brands.

This slim fit "performance tech" is a great dress shirt and checks all the right boxes - it's comfortable, looks great, doesn't make me feel hot, and is easy to iron myself. I'm a huge, huge fan of the cut on this shirt. For a slim fit, it's cut perfectly - not too much material where I feel like a kid wearing my dad's shirts but also not so little that I'm a step away from wearing a "schmedium".

I'm also a big fan of the myriad of sizes Amazon offers - I wish more shirt labels would do the same! My favorite dress shirt label has been Tommy Hilfiger but these definitely give that brand a run for the money.

One thing to be aware of is that the material is slightly sheer. I wear Under Armour t-shirts under and some have a label that tends to show through the BD shirt.

The collar size and sleeve lengths are correct but the overall body size is too large despite ordering slim-fit. I’m trying to find a lower cost shirt that fits like Ministry of Supply slim fit (which fit great). This shirt does not compare it terms of fit. Time will tell how it holds up with wrinkle resistance and longevity.

This shirt is really nice and the material is of fine quality. It has a bit of a stretch to it for more comfort. I bought it for my son to wear under his sport jackets. He likes to have a white shirt in a slim size, he thinks it looks more professional at work.

Good performance shirt (its not 100% cotton), fits well.
