Currently using three brands of Henley's: Dickies, Wrangler Riggs and Carhartt. Overall little difference in quality or fit. There are some differences. The RIGGS Wrangler brand is two button, and has a 1" square leather pocket logo. Off the three the fit is slightly tighter on the Riggs, slightly larger on the Carhartt. Of the fabric after some wash cycles, the Riggs is the smoothest, the Carhartt the roughest, it is a noticeable difference between the Riggs and the other two in smoothness. The other are comparable. Wife says the Carhartt looks good on me, and the Riggs looks the most "fitted". The Riggs does have the most "structure", looks classier. All are comparable in looks though. All appear to have similar build and stitch quality.

I purchased the Ash Heather as the description said it was 100% cotton. Well it's not. It's 90% cotton 10% Nylon.
The description should be changed for that color so all will know its' not 100% cotton.

    Updated review:
I purchased a different color (Navy) in a smaller size and am pleased. I've typically worn Carhartts henleys in XL and they've been a little roomy. I tried a Large and found it fit comfortably. I will say the material is softer than my Carhartts. Let's see how it stands up to dirty job sites and multiple washings.

This is a good shirt. Large is my normal size and this one was about right, with normal length short sleeves, not the shorter sleeves as is common now. A hidden 'pencil pocket' inside the chest pocket is also useful, and the overall quality of the shirt seems fine. My wife, who rarely comments on my clothes unless I ask, offered that the shirt looks good on me. End of story! I ordered three more.

Love this shirt! I have numerous colors in this and the long sleeve version. Have recently experienced a significant weight loss. Wardrobe replacement has been an issue. As most are aware, fit specifications vary among manufacturers. With inadequate QC processes,, they often vary WITHIN production. Has never been an issue, in my experience, with Wrangler, whether size medium or x-large. Quality, serviceability, and durability compare very favorably with others' similar products at any price point. (And that's from 40yr veteran of the clothing industry!)

Great shirt .... I prefer a Henley over a regular t-shirt ..... they are only a couple bucks more, and they look a bit sharper than a plain t-shirt ....

I own Henleys made by Wrangler, Carhartt, and Duluth Trading ..... After only a few years, the Duluth Trading have fared the worst .... The colors have faded more than the other two brands ..... and the button collar has no shape .... it just flaps all over the place, buttoned or not ..... and the pocket has stretched so it looks more like a pouch than a pocket ....

The Carhartt has held up fairly well .... the colors are still bright and true ..... but the back of the collars are starting to fray .....

The Riggs, however, are still going strong .... so much so that I plan on keeping them a bit longer, and replacing the Carhartts and Duluth Trading with new Riggs ..... the Riggs still feel good and fit as though new ..... even when un-buttoned, the collars stay in place and look good ....

Replacing my Carhartt's after 30 years of buying Carhartt. Seems like their weight has been going down for many years. Have been buying 2XL single shirts from many different brands. Riggs seems more H.D. than all the others, including Carhartt. They feel a little tighter than I would like but I'll try different size combos an see what happens. MAKE THEM POLO STYLE PLEASE.

Great heavy weight tees. I have bought quite a few of these over the past few years and like them a lot. As a big guy I find it hard to find a shirt that fits loose enough to be comfortable yet not look like a recycled tent. Another problem we larger guys have is wearing holes through the area where the sleeve meets the body under the arm from the extra stretching that area has. Not so with this shirt! I have a couple of these shirts that are 3 years old that so full of "garden and garage" stains that I really should throw them away, but they still fit and have held up so well that I keep them to use for painting or working on the house.

I can vouch for the other reviewers that like this shirt. Quality construction, sturdy but not stiff fabric (like a Carhartt), and the collar has a touch of attitude that was exactly what I was hoping for. The small "R" on the pocket appears to be embossed on real leather, but it's not obtrusive. I feel one notch above casual when wearing this shirt. It ran about 1/2 size large on me before I washed it, then it became a "relaxed" fit (as advertized). Some folks might prefer ordering 1 size smaller and then "stretching" it after a wash. Other than that, there is nothing lacking about this shirt. BTW, the little hidden "utility loop" in the chest pocket is perfect for holding an ink pen in place...I'm guessing that was the idea to begin with.

A nicely built henley tee-shirt with pocket.

It's a loose fit, and after two washes doesn't seem to have shrunk — so: very comfortable.

It's also longer than most tee-shirts and doesn't fall out when bending and stretching.

It's a pity that Amazon only have it in one colour.

Beautiful casual shirt, very comfortable and perfect fit.
This is my second purchase ,also have the same shirts in long for fall and winter wear!

Be nice to get a tall. They untuck easy
